Well, maybe it is my problem, but I see a mmorpg forum game correspondant as someone that pass unbias information about the game to the forum users. AA always let his fan optimistical part shadow any real criticism for months, what his sad to a point since AA posts pre-aoc kind of pointed to a very fair guy.
I disagree. I've seen him be critical of the game. He just doesn't do it in the pull-your-hair-out-screaming-at-the-top-of-your-lungs manner of the Failcom crowd. He's pointed them out from time to time, and immediately moved on to point out that there are positives too. |

Depends on where you live man, depends on where you live. When I'm in these deep-freeze winter months landlocked in the midwest, you might be able to sell me nice looking beaches of pixilated water for twice that much. Don't ever sell the impact of high quality graphics short, consider how much people will spend just to play a video game at max details at a smooth framerate, that $15 is nothing in comparison. Sometimes, yeah, the graphics really are worth it. |

And the obvious is that all the errors that haunted the game more or less is gone, yes there is some still, but no where near the amounts some users claims there is. This game has some haters that played at launch and keeps spamming the same nonsense even tho they don't play the game anymore. I played from launch and until now, and the difference in stability for majoprity of people are huge. OOM as good as gone, some claim to still get it, but that I guess is more with their system then the game as the reports of OOM are not many these days. |

That is my thought too,
whether you are talking about the Murder system or Ymir's pass I find it impossible to understand how people go so excited over what they will do next. For one it takes them forever to implement anything, and when they finally do it's always partially broken, then that takes months and months to get fixed-if it gets fixed at all. it's brutal |

Do you think they will just "stop" all of a sudden after those updates? Short term (over the next 6 months) looks very promising. You forgot Tarantia Commons new Zone and the Crafting updates (pairs of professions) + Siege workout with suprises. Tarantia Commons will probably have several dungeons that have been hinted at too. If your into raiding. As for sieges maybe come to a server where there is several everyweek, did you witness the massive competition for spots after the merge and continued congestion? Did you hear about the PvP resources that will be coming in with nice loot? What about the crafting tie in's with the existing raid content? What about lots of the current gems being replaced with new ones and all the goodies that come with that crafting update. Just over 3 weeks. Feb 23rd I am sure on that day there will be a bit more insight into short term plans, plus the regular people who credit themselves as creditable with all sort of continued predictions of doom and bust which when you think about it have never come to fruition in the past. The way I see it is that there are plenty of things to do and introduce over the next 6-9 months. I don't think they will sit back, and I certainly don't think the game will suffer if people are making an expac which have been staffed up for.
I agree and don't forget about that they need to finish Thoth-Amon's stronghold and House of Crom. |

Beats me why some people pay to play a game they obviously hate,is it because you think you may miss out on something happening that will increase ur e-peen size or what? If you dont like the game don't frickin play it !!!! simple really..... Let the people who DO enjoy it play it in peace without the melodramatic bullcrap that is creeping into this forum (never forgive, never forget....lmfao it's not Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan). If you want some fun head over to the Darkfall forum and start slagging off the vapourware over there, you can really get ur teeth into that one. Funcom made some mistakes and are TRYING to rectify them and bring people back to the game, that's all there is to it.Most MMO's have some bugs present years after launch,PC games aren't like console games where everything is rainbow smiles in happyland, new drivers cause bugs, updates cause bugs, been like this for years so quit whining, suck it up and run along cos this game is on the way up and no amount of Gaming since 1985 and still going strong. |

That's the worst understatement since Noah said "It looks like rain" |

The biggest problem is it has nothing really going for it other than the graphics and the PvP. Even giving the game those points a lot of people still prefer LoTRO's world graphics and Warhammers PvP over AoC's. Those are just a matter of subjective opinion. When it boils down to it all the game offers to a PvE player is quest after quest for bad to mediocre gear so you can do the next level of quest for more bad loot. Nothing for the explorer or socializer or even the achiever. |

Be careful when you fight the trolls, lest you become one. |
There is also the sins in Age of Conan. So far I have counted the following sins in Age of Conan. - Foul language. So no... not the big fan

Thats what make people play, thats why they want to go and kill people. And personally, i dont like your list of "sins". And the fact that you are looking into such minimal things that you can bypass and not even have to notice, makes me wonder if your just a troll? Because, if you look past, you see the amazing game, the amazing combat, and the actual GAMEPLAY and what not. Not just what npc's are sitting around doing.
