My Dvd/cd drive just up and stopped working, i uninstalled the drive and reinstalled it, the thing won't open or read disks. I carry my computer around alot (desktop) could I have damaged it? |

Yes, they are pretty easy to damage. Especially with an Aluminum case. |

Optical drives are cheap. Newegg.com always has a couple drives for under $30 shipped. Sounds like it may be time for a new drive for ya.
