Just tell her the truth: Some people's brains need MORE mental stimulation than others. Some people are 100% content sitting on the couch passively with no brain activity involved and some people require MORE. Have you heard the latest news story about metabolism? Your metabolism is SLOWER while watching TV than while sleeping! That's how sluggish you get while watching TV! And other people- like us- we NEED to use our brains. We CRAVE mental stimulation and we need problems to solve and we NEED to plot strategies and we NEED to finish goals/quests.

uhhh.... honestly.. when I was 16 I was bangin broads.. So if I were in that scenario, I wouldnt even think to turn off the game / shut down the PC. I would simply jump off teh game, jump on the girl.. Come on now, hormones are racing at 16.. I would be ON THAT like a fat kid on cake.. *edit* But then again.. who says he was ever in that scenario.. I was playing games at 16, yes.. but I would chase girls so much more than I would chase games. I feel that now, I'll play more games than chase girls. but like in the previous post (some on posted on this thread) someone said that everything is good in moderation. sorry to hear that. in my case, my gf always gets in the way of my gaming. its pretty hard to play these days since she hates it when I do not talk or do something with her, when we're together. i havent actually made her play games. she only loves FPS like medal of honor and call of duty games. |

You know you've lost at this point and now you're just talking. I play games. That's a given. I'm 16, that's been said. I HAVE kissed girls, I'm not a virgin, I'm not prude, and I don't dislike sex. I love it. But at the moment I am single because I choose to be (already said that). Girls don't dislike me because I game, and I don't spend all my time gaming and none chasing girls. I just don't chase the girls like I did when I was 14-15 because of the experiences it brought me. Besides that, I like to relax with gaming. Sex isn't my idea of relaxing.

Then when you go back to gaming...she will be glad you are on the pc rather than buggin her. It worked for me!

Its all about moderation my friend. You shouldn't be spending all day playing games regardless if you're single, especially if you're married. If she literally told you to STOP playing games altogether, you need to tell her right quick, NO!!! That's not about gaming, that's about controlling your life or trying to change an important part of it. You have to compromise a little of course, but that goes for everything. Those who won't compromise won't stay married long. Its no different from someone playing golf or any hobby. You can't expect your wife to be happy if you play golf all day every weekend. Its about moderation and compromise. But if gaming is more important than your wife, you might as well end it=) |
