To the OP: Carebears are welcome, heck, we hope you decide to play. It's easy ganking and easy target practice for the other PvPers. You'll find a lot of us are a tad more difficult than a WoW NPC on auto-attack. So I hope to see you in-game soon. Carebears rock! Without sheep a wolf has nothing to do |

Full loot may be the only way of making pvp meaningful. You can actually follow your enemy to his home, burn it to the ground and take his or her's stuff. It's the stuff epic politics and diplomacy is made of. --- |

UO made people nervous, now it just makes them dress funny. |

I'm all for that. Well, maybe set the current to stun, not kill. Sometimes I lag.... Trammies need to stop polluting the MMORPG landscape. They already have enough games in which to emote hugs and sell garbage by the banks. |

You die, then some lucky fellow strips your mangled corpse. You don't need an engineering degree to see how it works. Express away.... Trammies need to stop polluting the MMORPG landscape. They already have enough games in which to emote hugs and sell garbage by the banks. |
Originally posted by Xris375 i still believe that AC had the best system. You lost items based on level divided by 10, +1 more. At least that is how i figured it. So a level 34 would drop 4 items, and a max level of 126 would drop 13 items. And half your gold you were carrying. But the kicker has a 4% hit to all your skills. How did you get rid of it, by killing mobs, and because there was no max experience in the game, basically it ment you had to go level.
So someoen might attack you, die and lose a few items, but if they come back and attack you, they could still win. But die 3 times, and your skills are hit too hard to really stand a chance.
Meaning for pvp, to get their items. Similar to darkfall, items in that game weren't that expensive, vendors sold them cheap if you really needed something. |

But still you do not know how importend weapons are going to be. Still there is one solution to not lossing you loot. Do not die, take the EvE approuch. Do not carry what you can not afford to lose. |

Gee what a novel concept. Make things a bit more realistic. What a revolutionary concept. Should shake up the entire gaming industry. I see why you are so taken aback. If you want to be all extremist and all then how about you die in game and you die in real life?

If death is anything, it's an learning experience; i see no logic in cutting skillpoints or experience. AC's system also makes attacking in sieging more easier (reduce the effect of long supplylines) --- |
