Honestly it IS Bioware. Since when are they known for their amazing art style? Since maybe Mass Effect? Some people really like their art, and even more people like the scenery, buildings, general background ect.. But their character models for Neverwinter Nights 2 for example are pretty ugly. So far from the screenies TOR to me most resembles NVW and I'm worried the character models won't be to my liking. :/

I never played Mass Effect, but from the videos I've seen on Youtube it looks very nice. So hopefully members from that team will help out TOR. :) Also Dragon Age is going to be very pretty.. So we'll see.

SWG wasn't taken. It's still up, I played pre-cu and post-cu both games were pretty god awful. The only thing I liked about SWG was the city creation.

4 years of crying over a game........I think the "SWG vets" have earned whatever whiney rep they have. Its been around for 5 years 3 of which have been NGE. That was what? 1 year of pre-cu and 1 year of CU and some have cried for 3 or 4 years over that 1 or 2?

lol, not a fan of a few weapons they have shown myself, but I really don't care about graphics too much TBH. It's rarely been a factor in any game I play. I still love Monkey Island 3 and it has cartoon graphics, yet it's a great game. As long as it runs good, and they iron out glitches, and does not look like WURM Online I'm ok with the look.

Of course the actual game design is the biggest factor,this does not mean you remove the graphic artists and make a MUD game.This is what an ACTUAL game IS,it is EVERYTHING ,graphics/game play/mechanics/player interaction/adventuring,it is NEVER JUST about the game play.As far as i am concerned any developer who cannot implement good graphics AND game play,are not good developers.There is NO excuse except laziness or they feel there is enough dummies out there willing to pay for a half ass effort or they just do not have the ability or resources to make a proper game.

Probably a good thing you won’t be playing it then. From reading your other posts it sounds like you’ve been banned in every game you play for harassing the developers. You’d most likely just be banned anyways.

The biggest problem with MMORPG is that games have Suggestions in the forums and players use them, but the Dev's still don't read them. They forget that a MMORPG need players to stay alive. Most games that die are the ones that think they have the best plan and becomes blind, they just patch, patch, patch the game with stuff that players don't give a damn about. What happens? Players say "F-ck it! I'm going over to other game". 

Just look at AoC, for months the Devs worked on low level stuff... when the players was asking for high lvl stuff. The forum was full of angry people asking for more high lvl... but the Devs was blind. And with that Funcom changed name to Failcom and will now have problems with MMORPG for a very long time. Who will trust them on next game they make? ...if they make one...

And PoBS, people didn't like the avatar combat from day one. One year (or so) later they change that... a bit too late if you ask me... and you can see that on the population. Fail, now a dying game...

Well, SWG was an excellent Star Wars game, the massive changes are what ruined it. I'm all for new innovations and gameplay, but sometimes, using what works is a better bet. BioWare is an awesome game console company so I know they have a lot of heart when it comes to story driven content. However, history has proven in the MMO market that story driven makes games feel too linear. WAR is an excellent example of why linear gameplay leads to boring replay very quickly.

SWG was a success because it was a sandbox game, open and diverse. I'm not saying SWTOR will not be a good game, but from the sound of it, it won't draw SW fans too it like SWG did. So your right, SWTOR is not SWG 2, which is probably the biggest mistake they could have made.
