Old one was much better, main page is one big grey mess :(

Grey colors don't fit with dark blue background around it.

my inital reaction was WTF yuck. but i'm going to give this new layout a  chance before I come down on it.

But intially the grey is making me ill like Teala said.

DO like the features though some nifty new options there.

the game list collapsable has some funky behaviour on collapse. and I think it should be maximized at load because I may not even know what game I want to play/read about below "E"....perhaps an expand all?

Vast improvement - much easier on the eyes color wise and the larger fonts don't hurt either

I definitely dig this new layout and theme. My eyes no longer retain the lines of text after I look away from the screen, except when I am typing a new post, when I'm in the dark.

The only thing I'd like is for the text input box in the Report feature to be made horizontally longer so I can see the majority of what I am typing. The space is there and not being used for anything so I wouldn't think it'd be too hard.

Edit Add: Add an option under Recent Forum Posts -> All Posts by... to open/close all posts instead of having to individually click on View for each thread. I direct a lot of people to past threads instead of repeating the answer.

I was shocked at first, but it's growing on me fast.  I love the new features and it looks good.  No giant adds all over the page.  Nice :]

 I'm not too big a fan of the grey, and it was quite confusing at first to find the old forums I used to visit since there is no "in development" etc anymore. Also I would like an indication on which page number I am on and a NEXT and PREVIOUS button :) Other than that, good job, looks cleaner and more modern.

I'm not sure what was wrong with the old design but I for one, really dislike this new one... it hurts to look at...

Thread browsing need previous/next page buttons and also mark what page your on, as it was in the old design. I find it too much of an hazzle to check the post number to find the right next page of the thread.

Also the grey is meh to me. Never was fond of that colour. It's just ...boring. Like those games that insist on making everything a depressing sea of brown or a wall of boring grey. Yep, seen enough of them already. More colour schemes to chose from would be nice.

Also, if it has to do with this change, or another bug don't know but I no longer recieve any emails from you guys. It started a few weeks ago though.

When it comes to the rest of the design, it will take some getting used to. It's tidy, but I was used to the old one and really liked that the best.

I guess I basically like it overall with just a few minor complaints. As others have stated the color theme is kinda blah. The Most Popular Games list on the left side should come back as having to wade through every game on the site to switch forums will get old fast. Also the forum list is no longer divided into "Released" and "In Development" which needs to return as this is going to cause a lot of confusion and "Where do I download/buy the game?" threads. These are just my first impressions so far and I'll post again if I notice anything else as I wade through the new site content.

Overall I think I will like it better once I get used to it.

EDIT: Oh and bring back the bar graphs on the polls please. It was a whole lot easier to decipher a poll at a glance with the bar graph. Just having the percentages listed just plain sucks.

The blue and grey fits perfectly due to the logo's color. But personally i do not like this layout. Sure, it looks way more modern. But the older style has it's charm. And damn, i had a chock and thought my net had gone wild again xD

Only good thing I've noticed so far is that the forum posting bug has been fixed in firefox... well... I haven't noticed the wierd glitchiness I've seen in the past yet.

OOPS... I stand corrected... glitchiness still there.... Had to double-edit just to get the formatting correct because the editor still nukes some of the quotations the first time around.

The grey needs some texture please. Yeah the TABs look fine, but this grey looks like something a first time site-creator would use. Way too much of it. Also, no big difference between the dark and light grey.

Overall it definetely seems smoother, though the colors might need some work.

Good use of CSS instead of images. Clean and flat look is nice. Nothing wrong with the colors, gray might be boring but it is also neutral.

Suggestion for the Forums:

1. "Add forum to favourite" and show on the left side in a seperate favourites list.
2. Keep list expanded (eg. G-L should stay open when i opened it).
3. One can not see on which thread page he is!
4. Next and Previous Page buttons are missing.

Good work, i like the clean new look and the CSS work.

Was anything about the bust ass form software (java script ) addressed?

Does one post of a different font magically turn all posts tot he font still? I would really like my copy and paste back. Makes it imposable to multi-quote someone, and the FireFox spellchecker dose not work in your text editor unless its in BBML mode.

I am more concerned about forum functionality than looks, some of your band aide fixes need true fixes.

Site looks good over all.

I love the new look.  I can't comment on the forums as I don't post on them much.  Imo, the site looks much better now.  It really looked cluttered and chaotic before, now it seems to have direction.

Good job... again, only my opinion.  Of course, I do like and embrace change. ;)
