Okay so its been 2+ days now since the alleged beta invites went out. Why havent we seen a single leaked beta video yet ? Im not advocating someone breaking NDA but lets be honest here, it happens. It always happens and frequently.

Factor in the overwhelming hype for this game and 8.5 years to stew....

There should be dozens of leaked videos by now.

Mostly leaked screenshots. But it has been a confirmed FACT that they let alot of new people in.

There's lots of rubbish fake video's on it.
And a few leaked screenshot slideshows, but I don't see any leaked gameplay footage. (The Location Test, this one gameplay trailer, and the MMO-Italia gameplay video are all official, not leaks).

Please link me to a leaked video. :)

Most of the crap on youtube isn't even Darkfall.   Some of it is just custom versions of the official videos.  I haven't seen one legit current beta video.  PM the link and I'll believe you.

On youtube you can indeed find a lot of vids about darkfall.

Except, lots of them are not about darkfall at all. Lots of others are not really vids, but a compilation of stills. And yet a lot of more others on youtube are variations of the same 3 vids, sometimes being only the begin, sometimes only the end, always with different music.

Well, theres still 3 there, but no recent ones of the beta.

Very funny but not quite what we were looking for.

yes and there is nothing on there with recent actual gameplay footage.

There are a lot of hardcore fans of this game that would love to prove Darkfall exists to the trolls. I find it hard to believe that none of them would leak some footage.

I can only conclude that nobody got an invite or the servers have been down since the 22nd

Seriously, I don't know considering there are thousands of beta testers playing DF right now.

I wouldn't say "thousands" are playing right now. At the momant, there's probably around 1,000 accounts in the beta, definately no more than that.
For this "trial" though, they're going to want to max out the server loads for a stress test, most likely. So expect more large batches of invites.

Or they are playing but the server is UP & Down so much that its hard to frap anything.  Not stating that it is the case, its just one option.

who's spending money. People can spend their own money on whatever they like it doesnt require judgement from you or anyone else at all.

I would say pre-order and pay will go into effect in like 2 weeks from now. How many people will buy then without seeing or playing the game first ?

Once you get in, you stop caring about it and care more about getting banned from beta by leaking a video, which is far too hard to remove identifiers from. 

Oh, and there were definitely more than a thousand invites that went out.

Videos are kind of hard to censor all the info that would otherwise give people away. Not everyone has the resources to do that, unless they've spend some cash on high end video editing software.

There must be an option to turn off the UI while grinding or pvping.

its been 2+ days sure...but the client is at least 8 gigs and they are downloading from a crappy site (10kb/s was the slowest i heard and 150kb/s was the quickest)

so yeah 2 days have come and gone and most of it has been downloading

There are no videos because there is NO game client.

If you blame the download speed... how you think they can handle the game servers? with money from preorder?

Hahah, "preorder now and we can build a great game later"...

i remember on forumfall there was a poll which nearly 70% said they wanted a pre order

but once they announced they will have one all the sheep follow everyone else complaining about it

they have already 30mil into the game... you think pre orders are going to get all there money back and then some which will help them "make a better game"
