Well you can ping straight through to where the server is supposed to be with excelent time. The server just isnt there atm, so its not a DDOS attack. Also you can add servers to a network dynamically, so no need to pull the entire server down for that. |

since the browser dont say it couldnt find the server, it says connection timeout (and did the same yesterday), i believe its the same..
and since its possible to get on the forum for some minutes once in a while im guessing server overload..
at least it acts just like any other servor overload..
yea you could call it a DoS attack.. if aventurine are USA and the community are Muslims.. lol.. |

Hammering in Forumfall is par for the course. A day without flaming and complaining would be reason to shut down the servers for damage contro las something is just not right. |

And i will point out the fact that you cannot possibly know the true answer in either case. Your assumptinos do have evidence to back them up, granted, but that does not mean they are correct as it is merely using the information and extrapolating. I am not at all saying you are "attacking" anyone, merely that you do not know definitively that it is actually a different reason as to why the forums may have been shut down. |

Problem is you are given reasons and proof and beta forum qoutes and REVIEWS (The Noob) but that's not enough proof... however a forum being down and the fact that "you" (everyone complaining) didn't get in is proof. |

Forumfall has a rep for being a dangerous place to post. I doubt that they decided to suddenly seize up because people wanted to whine about their lack of being in the beta. That seems... highly unlikely to me at this point. They have had alot of flak for years now, i don't think one storm is gonna push them over the edge. Though i will say that the DOS stuff may have been a good reason to shut them all up for awihle in conjunction with what ever other reason they may have had. |
