Also, I can't access the forums so I don't know why they'd be releasing a "first wave" without fixing their forums first...

what kind of open beta is this where they hand pick testers if any and due to NDA u dont know really if its true

Why couldn they have 100 invites to each of the gaming sites etc

This is an update about what is happening today:

We have sent out the first wave of invites to our Friends and Family. We will send more waves of invites within a few hours. Invited friends and Family will be able to download the Darkfall installer.

We are applying the latest patch, and Friends and Family will be able to start patching soon, and entering the game.

We are spacing out the invites in order to facilitate the download of the client. We will continue sending out more invites every day to Friends and Family until we reach our capacity.

Since this first phase has to do with stress testing the servers, and doing final testing on features, we are not lifting the NDA until this testing is concluded.

We apologize for the problems with the forums and the website today, we haven't  payed our server's fee and  experiencing time-outs, and we are working to repay the server's fee. Please donate to us!

Well, like a lot of people I assumed they'd keep the NDA in effect. Now lets see as they let people in, if anyone breaks that thing and gives us an idea of what this game is all about. Personally, I'm skeptical that they've sent anyone anything.

Well, at least we know that goblins are in and working as intended.

You know if they'd send out a decent amount of invites you'd have at least a few people here posting genuine evidence that they'd got in. Bet their first wave consisted of Tasos' grandparents
