What will you do. If they don't go into some kind of beta today, but they let me know they aren't I'm cool. If they don't go into a beta and say nothing about it, I have a flash abck of SOE type customer service and give up. If they go into a beta, I celebrate. |

Shrug, in the end we just have to wait for release. It will be up to the individual player to say whether this game is worth it or not. HOwever, I wouldnt mind some more information coming down the pike ...too much speculation is never good.

you cannot think of it in terms of giving up or hang tough. It's all in the attitude of the developers and not yours. I hope you all do leave, I'm not being rude or calling either of you a troll, I just think you're going to hurt the game. I'm not a fanboi, I'm pretty sure the game will launch incomplete and with a lot of errors. I also know that there will be 100,000 players that want service now, want to be led by the hand to the next town, want rule changes before they even try the game and want the servers to have the perfect population all the time. Feeling entitled to something is better than being a passive follower who just accepts failure. Also, it's not like people are feeling entitled for no reason, they are feeling entitled to what Aventurine promised them. Generation of entitlement? Heh... |

If you are tired of waiting for the game, just stop waiting for it. Play something else, if and when the game comes out, read the reviews and then decide to play or not.

well thsi will hurt the darkfall devs who have worked on this game for years, to have the 22nd come and go and not have anything. sure they had a ddos or what ever attack, but not to have an anouncement on thier forums is mind boggling. if you have a product and its in trouble post a few anouncements and peopel wont care. but all the hush hush form them is very bad and bad for business |

For me its 95% give up. Im still hoping for a sandbox game that can satisfy my needs but if Aventurine cannot be honest in any shape, way or form how the hell can I trust them with credit card details, patching bugs and updating game content...

I'm actually happy Darkfall is going thru launch issues. It will be a sort of natural selection process and the community will be better for it if/when the game does finally launch. If having to wait for the game annoys a person to the point that they dont want to play it, imagine what full loot pvp will do. If the game never launches, oh well. I will have wasted a few minutes here and there that i watched it and read about it. No real loss. If it does launch, then we will see what it is made of at that point. |
