I use the sister model to the original car, a Dodge Stratus. Mine is a V4 instead of a V6. It gets 25~40 miles highway depending on how you drive and the driving conditions. Also its only attacked by sludge if you do a poor job maintaining it. Using quality parts and oil will actually significantly prevent the risk. Like using Castrol GTX. However, that particular one is over 125k km. So chances are the owner is selling it off because they didn't follow that rule, and quality maintenence will cost you about $50 for routine maintenence in high mileage vehicles. I would suggest an american car, because they are more sturdy then foriegn cars despite what people say. They are more powerful and last longer typically then Asian cars, and they don't require the same type of maintenence in order to run as European cars. |

OK that helps, do you live in an area with a heavy snowfall/rainfall? are you concerned about gas mileage..in other words if this car only gets 24mpg on the freeway do you care? Is a convertible a plus, minus or doesn't matter?
