I just broke my arm this weekend and this game is a bitch to play with one hand, which coincidentaly made me wonder how anyone with hand or wrist problems would play this game (*cough f___king elitists), so that should shut up half of the trolls on this forum who will ask, "Well then why are you on the forums and not playing the game?" to what i have to say next.

Warhammer is kick a$$.  At least in comparison to other MMOs  on the market today.  And this is coming from someone so picky that he went through 10+ other MMOs last year alone.  I really have trouble understanding how people can complain so much about this game - other than those who blow through this games 40 levels in 2 days because they have no lives and play the game 24-7.

For casual gamers though, its a great game - dont listen to most of the bullcrap people feed you on forums.  Definitely worth a try.

You're perectly right. It's all just a figment of their imaginations. Happy gaming and happy endgame!

Yep casual gamers should be able to enjoy the game fine. There's always some fun to be had while doing PQs scenarios or keep sieges.

But endgame is in a shamble really.

I advise anyone rushing to r40, well, not to!

Just been playing around in oRvR with the guild, had some laughs, killed tons of squishies then ran a couple of instances for good measure. I come to these forums after a couple of days of absence and holy crap!

Like it or lump it. WAR is the best and most accesable PvP mmo out at the moment.

Excuse me theres a game out there right now with millions, not thousands, millions of players that is 100 times better PVP than WAR and it's called Guild Wars.....don't be crowning a game that has done Squat and has pretty much ruined there chances of leaving a lasting impression on the MMO world.

I don't listen to them, they suck.  WAR's boring!!  There is no END GAME!!!  BLAH BLAH BLAH.

They made the game the way it is, if you choose to try and play it like WoW your loss.

I play WAR as WAR, and ya know what?  I gotta go log in, there be some destruction fools in need of a fireball or two upside the head.

GW, I play GW... when I need to fall asleep, talk about DULL.

I am a casual gamer, I played, I quit. I jst felt like I was on a hamster-wheel of grinding for level, renkown, etc. And it looked like the game was going to be gear-centric again. That and to be honest... I just didn't find it all that fun. And I never made it to end game... which is what most people are complaining about. I didn't care how good end game is... I am through punishing myself for months in a game to get to the "fun" part. Though I will admit the game was pretty fun early on in Tier 1.

I agree with you on one thing... it is worth trying. All games are worth trying, always decide for yourself what you like or don't.

Guild wars may have a decent PvP but its not like you can PvP exclusively to max rank from level 1 like you can in WAR. Guild Wars PvP is also on a much smaller scale, kinda like WARs scenarios. Guild Wars is so instanced it feels more liek a single player game than an mmo.

Also I seriously doubt it has millions of players, but if you wanna play guildwars you know where the forum is.

I play just because it is the only MMORPG that I know of which is based on massive pvp.  If you like large encounters then you'll love this game.

I agree, as casual games go WAR is the best. I think the main issue is that WAR is just missing the cool end game RvR that DAOC somehow created.

I already don't listen to whiners.

I don't listen to people who's entire review is "it's kickass" either.

It is a really impressive and fantastic game, up to level 22.

Then everything else is really dull and not 1% as action intensive as most thought. That the end-game seems half finished doesn't help either.

Acutally DAoC is the best RvR game on the market.  Hope you continue to enjoy, but I cancelled until paid beta is over.

well before i bought the game i was kinda skeptical about the game because all the whiners in the forums. but now im playin it since a month and i love this game. if u like rvr and love to run around with big groups of people and capture castles then this game is definitively somethin for you.

as it has been said before, its always better to try a game on yourself then trust the whiners on forums who are mostly 24/7 gamers that expect a game to replace their real life.

im not about to offend people who tried the game and just didnt felt appealed by somethin. but sadly the forums are full of people that think their point of few is the only one which realy matters and everyone have to agree with them.

Well I just decided to give the game another try and god I wish I hadn't, nothings changed on the servers I've tryed with destro rolling order because of there overwhelming tank and healer numbers advantage, this was the games last chance to hook me and it's failed big time.

It might be wiser now to wait and see after this next "big" patch. The last touted one wasn't the saviour it was billed to be by a longshot.

We do know they will be putting in the other two missing classes from launch, not sure about the cities, but the bigger thing will be how they handle the other changes people are yelling about now (crashes, loot grind, balancing, CC, etc). If that can be worked out, heck, I might even come back. MJ has sure laid out a tons of hype about this one, which isn't unusual so we'll see.

But not now, I'd be paying for beta content and calling it as it is.
