Who we are:
A small core group of players who have played together for years (started with UO, EQ, EQ2, SWG, + many games which we played briefly). We have managed the guild for each game individually so members come and go as they please.

What we want to do in Darkfall... or "our angle":
We would like to set the guild into a medium guild size for this game. After some discussion we are looking at around 80 members before we cut off recruiting. Recruiting is now open for those who feel they are a good fit. We have always been of the mindset "Both you and the guild get to test-drive each other... if you don't fit in with us no problem, we hope you understand that it applies the other way too.

Guild Set-up for Darkfall:
We have decided on a Roman theme for Darkfall. We intend to use units in large battles (sieges, raids, etc) and there will be an OOB (Order of Battle... or squad/platoon structure) in place. Each new member upon recruitment can select what role he wants to serve in large battles (both Field Army and Navy) and politics. This allows the person who wants to be a ship captain the chance to lead us in these encounters, but also this person may be a heavy footman in a Land encounter. The inverse applies here as well as someone who wants to be a cavalry commander may do so, but on the water... you guessed it... gunner or marine. This will apply to politics as well. We want people to do the things they want to do. Period. With that in mind we do feel however that you should try and help others achieve this same amount of "getting in to the game". We will be playing as the "goodies" in DF and will require all members to be Human, Dwarf, or Mirdain. The issues associated with faction unfortuneately require it.

What we are like (Our social behavaiors):
We are certainly an achievment oriented guild. If we want a town, we go make one and defend it. If we want a navy we go make one. All members will be expected to provide materials, be they $$, mats, or crafted items. Sharing is expected far above personal wealth. We often in the games we have played have had "hand-me-down nights". This allows all players to get something new and exciting. This is usually followed by a night of drinking and pillaging in-force! We expect members to be on good terms with each other. You don't have to like everyone in the guild but you can be cordial. Who you party with is up to you, apart from squad or platoon level training which will be conducted to ensure that everyone is prepared for large battles.

Communication Used:
Currently our own TS Server, but we have used vent in the past. All members are expected to use this server for comms. We speak English. We do have several nationalities represented including (as of this writing) US, Norway, and Australia. Many of the players in now work off-shifts and can play with those in virtually any time zone.

Our website:
We do NOT require you to be on the forums. We require that you register, but no mandatory posts or anything silly like some others may have. We can communicate most things in game via TS. Many will find very useful things on the website such as maps, trade info, crafter info, etc., so we aren't discouraging it. We just won't require it. Also, no goofy ads or anything like that... its ours.

The easiest way is to apply at the website. Much is hidden from non-members. Our new boards are going up now ahead of release now. They are up and running now and content is being added daily. If you have any questions you can contact STYXX or FORNAX ARMORS for more details. Looking for all new recruits to be 17+ BTW. Look forward to hearing from you!

We aim for a mature guild if your younger and can act like a adult then there is no problem

How many members do you have at the mo who will play DF?

We have around 20 many arent registered on the site yet as it just came up last night.

Can I Ask how old you are, I dont expect an exact number unles you want to?

Ie in the region of 15-20  or 20-30 or higher?

Ahh oki thanks, I will head on over then and give it a try,will be one of the Older members  but have to say I'm still mentaly around 7

I was disapointed by the fact that they said they're going to be set up like Romans, but they're not going to have soldiers in groups of 100.

We are working on creating one legion now. Which we have a template for that calls for our current recruitment numbers. If all goes well we will raise the number and create more legions as needed.

If my cruddy comp can handle the game ill join. It can run EQ2 on high (not verry high just high). Been waiting for this game for so long now
