O.K. so I left DAoC about a year and a half ago to go play some of these newer MMOs (WoW, AoC, WAR).  I just can't see myself playing any of them for longer than a month, maybe two.  As all the veteran players of DAoC have said many times on this forum and others, the only real thing wrong with DAoC is the lack of population.

As of today, I am renewing my subscription to DAoC!  I urge anyone who has thought the same as me to join as well.  If the population is really the only problem, WE are the population.  So Join me, and together we shall meet in glorious battle and I will mash your head in!  If everyone rejoined DAoC, it would be the best game once again.  And even Mythic could not deny DAoC it's rightful place as thier "flagship" mmo!

Why has there been no word on orgins, they could at least let us know they are still working on it and give us some sort of ETA.

I think the fear is that a DAOC Origins server would pul a significant number of WAR players, which probably isn''t a desired goal right now.

I'd recommend you leave them a post on their official forums, but... oh well... 

I would definitely switch to the origins server if they ever released it.  Classic is still pretty fun with the lower population.  There's a couple of my old friends that came back with me, and we're giving Albion a hard time on a daily basis 

As for it pulling subs from WAR, that's not DAoC's fault.  They should work on both games equally and see which one grows. I bet it would be DAoC!

I want to come back.  I miss DAoC, but the pop is soo low.

nah I don't use stealth, Troll warrior ftw.  I hide behind trees, trolls are good at that

As to the original topic, if you want Origins server come back to DAoC now.  Mythic is probably debating whether to go through the process of releasing the Origins server when so few people play.  If not, at least go to the DAoC forums and sign the origins server petition

Just my personal opinion on what Mythic should do.  Combine all the servers together on the Origins format

I'm going to go send some more angry feed back.  Lets see if it gets things moving.

I'd definitely start playing again if they consolidated the servers a bit for higher pops. Origins would be icing on the cake.

EU here starting on the US classic servers. Would def. play Origins on US if/when it comes out.

Won't be EU as we all know GOA would have Origins out somewhere around the 81st century.

Been pondering returning for a while, after reading this I've decided that I will. I would rather play DAoC with a lower sub base, then play any other mmorpg out there atm with their subs. See you in-game :) AND YES I'M AN ALB!!!!!
