I'm being serious. Has anyone seen a mention of actually fighting another mob, or another mob in a video? Both videos I've seen had them fighting 'goblin scouts'. The new thread by tasos http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?t=82111 where the players talk about monster AI.. the ONLY mob they talk about is the goblins. I realize this is the starter area.. but isn't it strange that everyone talks about, and we've only seen 1 mob??? |

no there not theres more gobs are jsut the starter mob and they wipe quite a bit >.> the noob girl fought orcs and abet aleaker got killed by a dragon there alot more mobs too lol |

There will be other mobs. This is a sandbox game afterall. You will get to breed your own mobs.

I never read anything about a beta player posting about dragons. But did you read the link I posted? Nobody talks about anything but goblin (scouts). They aren't even talking about wiping.. they are talking about general gameplay, and it seems all they have seen is goblins. If all they have seen is goblins, it makes you wonder how little of the game is finished. Are the beta testers locked into the starter areas? If you have seen a decent part of the game, why do they all keep talking about goblins exclusively. There are litterally 20 mentions of goblins, and not a single mention of another mob. |

Well it took em almost 8 years to model the races they have. Maybe goblins are the only mob they've been able to model. Then they just add different clothes and weapons to them. I saw in a video on youtube they were running from a goblin and it was 'ice skating' (no movement animation lol).

Who knows. Nobody that I know of, outside the Deesyples of DF. Try burning some incense and sacrifice a goat, maybe you'll get an answer.

Reminds me of Lineage 1, where a guy managed to level from 1-50 killing only the low level (1-3) goblns that were located outside of the starter towns. (one in particular as I recall) I think he spent 3 months or more of 8 hour a day goblin grinding to pull it off. Good times

Why should an halfway intelligent monster migrate and build society near the city's where the players are.. The Goblins wield 10 different weapons and their armor has 256 different colored sets. How many more mobs do you need?
