Has anyone seen a mention of actually fighting another mob, or another mob in a video? Both videos I've seen had them fighting 'goblin scouts'. The new thread by tasos http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?t=82111 where the players talk about monster AI.. the ONLY mob they talk about is the goblins. I realize this is the starter area.. but isn't it strange that everyone talks about, and we've only seen 1 mob???

Wow another /fail This post is not new, it is from November, first off, and their are bunches of screen shots of other mobs, and videos even on youtube with other mobs in them.... remember that they chose what comments ot put in that 3 month old thread, and that the goblins are insignificant in most RPG's, and they made that kind of impression... Plus there are links in the same announcments thread with the n()()b comic writer giving some in game info as she played. Nice try at bashing or what ever though... Pain is the little thing that reminds us we are alive. Wisdom is what's left after we've run out of personal opinions. I never read anything about a beta player posting about dragons. But did you read the link I posted? Nobody talks about anything but goblin (scouts). They aren't even talking about wiping.. they are talking about general gameplay, and it seems all they have seen is goblins. If all they have seen is goblins, it makes you wonder how little of the game is finished. Are the beta testers locked into the starter areas? If you have seen a decent part of the game, why do they all keep talking about goblins exclusively. There are litterally 20 mentions of goblins, and not a single mention of another mob.

Maybe goblins are the only mob they've been able to model. Then they just add different clothes and weapons to them. I saw in a video on youtube they were running from a goblin and it was 'ice skating' (no movement animation lol). CC is so OP!

They are just that hard to get by, none has really succeded - and predictions are that the first server who manages a co-op of 250ppl will have a chance of getting past the goblings to the world. PvP defenses are not included in this calculations. There so fricken hard that althou the devs think they have put in mobbs, they have yet to confirm since the goblins are even pwning the /DEVTELEPORT command.... Reminds me of Lineage 1, where a guy managed to level from 1-50 killing only the low level (1-3) goblns that were located outside of the starter towns. (one in particular as I recall) I think he spent 3 months or more of 8 hour a day goblin grinding to pull it off. Good times

Why should an halfway intelligent monster migrate and build society near the city's where the players are.. Boars,bears and wolves own a large share of the RPG market and therefore like to give their friends and relatives starring roles.

How many times were 'goblin scouts' mentioned ? 23 How many times were any other mob mentioned? 0 Every single reviewer that mentioned combat, talked about goblin scouts :)

The Goblins wield 10 different weapons and their armor has 256 different colored sets. How many more mobs do you need? Darkfall Fun Fact ( DFFF ) : The Goblin armor coloring took 6 years of development.
