Maybe a little exaggeration in the subject there, but it does seem like a good bunch of players are checking it out again. Let's hope they stick around and make AoC a thriving and growing community. We need as much variety as we can get in the MMOG genre. :-) |

Coming back or just bored playing Wow/WAR and tired of waiting for Darkfail and just trying it out for the first time? |

I just saw the server merges and this is my opinion. If there's 4 PvE servers, 4 PvP servers and 2 RP servers for the WORLD?! And more people join, that means at least there will be good guilds and I won't be lonely. I suppose I'll join a good guild when I come back to the game. |

Originally posted by Jackdog LOL yeah right, when I see the game breaking 20K hours on XFire I might worry about over crowding, until then that is just a fantasy the XFire hour last week on 15th were due to the server merges BTW. Right now AoC is holding pretty steady with maybe a slight increaseafter the Holiday boost. Nothing like some people make it out as though. A free comeback week or two would boost the pos for sure. The gamble is how many would stay after the free period. If they had a 10% retention from a 14 day free trial that would be a success. Myself I still have not sdecided whetehr tio let my sub run. I am hardly playing the game but am thinking about a try on a PvP server to see if it can grab my atttention. Maybe tommorrow.
Playing on a PvP server is like playing a completely different game. I wouldn't let tortage disuade you from doing it tho, since that's the only place where people can actively and effectively prevent you from questiing

PvP in form of Sieges is another aspect of the game that should be experienced. |
