Bgs are dead, people dont want to play them anymore. You join and just wait until time is over and get ur mark/s.

I have never seen anything like this before, total lack of communication amongst players.

Half of the population is in a state of Apathy.

The only working thing in wow is......... emmmmm..... hmmmmm...... Dungeons/raids???   ehhhh...  no...

I know of several bugs there.

Classes dps is not working.

Yeah, if you don't like doing quests, running dungeons, fighting in Arenas, or battling in Lake Wintergrasp,  this game is not for you.

BGs are dead right now ( except for strands) because everyone has done them a million times.  PvP is either in the Arena, or Lake Wintergrasp.   Think of WSG, AB and AV as Dire Maul.. yeah, it's fun to go back and see it now and then, but no real reason to.   WOW has just gotten much better at PvP..  WSG are relics of when it wasn't as good.

Nobody goes wintergrasp to be honest, the only people I ever see there are the miners/ essence farmers, even when the battle rages you may see 3/4 horde. You may see a raidgroup there ocassionally but that's only because they want to clear the vault for free epics.

PvP is in a hell of a state at the moment, DKs are just plain ridiculous and on the other end of the spectrum you have warlocks who are terrible. Class balance is possibly the worst I have ever seen it.

Arena may have retained some of its popularity but now they have made the arena gear terrible for PvE content it's kinda killed some of the incentive.

The content patch can't come soon enough to be honest

What a laugh. I must be dreaming then when I see every few hours those hundreds of players battling.

That's why those with older computers complain about the lag in the massively played Wintergrasp.

Oh I get it, you think they are all NPC's :))

I came back to Wotlk after a long break and did all the raiding, I don't think WoW is horrid, far from it. In terms of raid content WoW cannot be beaten. However, I think the PvP is awful and I hate the way Blizz balance classes around arena. (For instance arms warrior nerf because of too much burst.)

I was initially impressed with wrath but it wasn't until 80 that the severe lack of raid content and horrible server problems became apparant.

I consider myself a Blizzard fan but I'd be lying if I were to say I haven't become somewhat jaded and cynical. I have stopped playing for the time being but will keep a close eye on upcoming content and patches.

I dunno, i play on one of the lowest population PVE servers, and horde always has 2 raid groups going (80 people) and most of the time we get the tenacity buff for being outnumbered.

I just don't get the whole "DK being overpowered".  My main is a moonkin who mostly wears cloth, and I really have no trouble against them.  It may just be a class by class thing, but there classes that I think are much more unbeatable than DK's ( enhancement shammies for one).

Wow sucks right now.  I find myself logging in, saying hi to friends, then logging back out.  I HATE instance/raiding and pvp is currently ZERO fun just as you say.  Takes forever to get into them and even when you do what's the purpose?  There's barely any gear to be had from them.  You need to run arena and have OP classes like pallies and druids in your arena.

I haven't really noticed a change in the mood of the playerbase.  I think the OP is probably in a state of apathy and projecting onto other people.

The reason the old BGs aren't as populated as they used to be is that there is AN ENTIRELY NEW EXPANSION out, giving players this funky new Deathknight to play with (it's actually getting a bit crazy, I was in a group with 3 DKs earlier), 10 long levels, and shitloads of dungeons to do so they can buy stuff with badges.  Oh, and 2 new battlegrounds.

I have noticed that in MMORPGs, as they expand, the bigger the world gets with new continents and expansions etc, the thinner the playerbase is spread out.  This is why Blizzard should be careful with opening new realms like they have been.

But really, if WoW's playerbase is in a state of apathy then I would guess that means that AoC players are experiencing a virtual mugging, WAR players are experiencing the ultimate anti-climax, and Tabula Rasa players are slitting their wrists :p

I am not apathetic.

I just don't care anymore enough to keep my sub going any longer....
