You are wrong though. People on here who actually play the game are telling you that /who all is your chunk. The all means all classes. Your chunk had 38 people in it. And that is good. playing: darkfall |

He/She is right. I do play the game and /who all shows all chars until it reaches the 40 limit. |

No you and boojiboy are wrong. /who give your chunk /who all give the server. boojiboy always tries to come off as the ultimate knowledge of things VG but if s/he cant even get this right it makes all his responses suspect. |

/who all returns all players from world if not further specified and if there are less then 40. If there are more than 40 it stops at 40. You can only get the number on a server by doing commands like /who all 1 10 /who all 11 20 or /who all bard for all level-ranges, classes and so on. There is no command available in vanguard to get the number of players on a server if more then 40. |

Standing in Khal Image on the left is /who all as you can it lists people who are nowhere near khal /who all is NOT limited to the chunk you are in although it IS limited to 40

I played vanguard for a bit and there is no command to get all characters on a server.
/who all - I recall "/who all" and /who returning the same information all the time for me. The "all" didn't actually change anything. I played on Seradon and there were definately more than 38 people online. At 20 I could find groups and see people chatting frequently. I have to admit, if Darkfall doesn't pan out I will be playing Vanguard again.
There was no way to find out how many people were on the server at any one time in game. None of the /who commands would give me that info.

I would suggest to log into the game and try the /who command. /who - shows all player in chunk limit 40 /who all - shows all player in world limit 40 /who healer - shows all healer in chunk limit 40 /who all healer - shows all healer in world limit 40 /who cleric - shows all clerics in chunk limit 40 /who all cleric - shows all clerics in world limit 40 /who cleric 1 20 - shows all clerics in chunk level 1-20 limit 40 /who cleric all 1 20 - showls all clerics in world level 1-20 limit 40 /who "guildname" - shows all of "guild" in chunk limit 40 /who all "guildname" - showls all of "guild" in world limit 40 /who all lfg - guess what /who blacksmith 1 20 - all smiths in chunk 1-20 limit 40 /who all blacksmith 1 20 - all smiths in world 1-20 limit 40 /who all count blacksmith 1 50 - all smiths in world as number limit 200
or you simply use the advanced search feature of the UI (press o - tab find - tab advanced find) |

Bodeus your right. /who all without parameters gives players in world not chunk - sorry. Would be nice if OP could give us servername, time + screenshot. Edited my last post. |

The op probably did the /who all shortly after the server came up from down time.
I remember logging in to a beta server for eq1 waaaaay back when and doing a /who all and found myself the only one

I think it was Sartok the pvp server on an odd time. The pve servers have higher numbers. Doesnt mean they are bursting with players but 38 is way too low for a VG pve server.
Anyway OP wrote what he saw. |

I still find it funny the Op still hasent told us what server and date/time.. lol If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. |

It was obviously either the pvp server which nobody plays on or he managed to do a count minutes after a server came up. Either way, the OP is trolling by not including the server and time. In sum: everyone stfu. /thread |
