That /who all is just the chunk you are in and that command will not return more that 40 players before it maxes out. There are hundreds of chunks. Primetime Seradon is pushing 900 players, which is the highest since pre-merge. Because the world is so huge and spreadout, you will need to make good use of the LFG tool and region-say for grouping. When hitting 20+ in level you will start to congregate with a lot more people around major quest areas and at then point grouping becomes easy and you can expect random invites. |

HAHA, hilarious ... The 38 online must be the fanboys for Vanguard on this forums tell us repeativly how good Vanguard is :D |

Sounds like the pvp server. Well, only the (few) strong survive. |

The first 20 levels or so will be pretty uch solo, my issue is this. In most mmo everyone seems to want to solo, so game developers adjust for some solo content then people want to group over soloing no matter how you look at it someone will always be disappointed, I am resubbing to Vanguard because of two things 1. Darkfall is doomed 2. No other combat system has the counter system that makes Vanguard combat feel like combat. Don't you get tired of autoshot healbot and the thousand other mods you all run to make life easier? Does anyone just play to have an immersive experience well fi you dont you should and Vanguard satisfies this quite well and yes bug still but most of the focus on the game is the upper levels in fact I still have no idea why trial isle was brought forth I agree it sucks

Vanguard was voted one of the top six WORST MMORPGs of all time http://news.mmosite.com/content/2008-05-19/20080519050010790,2.shtml No wonder there was 38 players online....it makes you wonder about this website, who are the fools who hype this piece of trash? |

Does anyone read ANY of the posts before they comment "Of course, this game is terrible!". There was 38 people in his chunk, not on the server. It is starting to get annoying people that never played this game commenting that no one plays because it's 'terrible'. |

The amusing part is that 38 people in one chunk is pretty darn good.

I don't remember the syntax exactly but if you type
/who all cleric count
or somthing like that, it will count all the clerics server wide.
|
|
|
/who all shows all player on the server and its cut after 40.

/who all does say server numbers, /who gives chunk numbers
the /who in 15 level <20 zones i went to was 1-2 peeps incl me. Current: WAR, LotrO, EVE |

You guys are silly? How are you MMO fans when you dont even know how /who works? It only tells you all of the people in a zone (or chunk in vanguard case). On Seradon there are always tons of people to play with. It takes until about the mid teens before you get in the populated areas because the starter areas are so spread ou and secluded. Trust me, vanguard has a very solid community of people who have been there since beginning and are there to stay. Not to mention people join all the time. lols if there were only 30ish people on each server thats only 90 people playing the game between the 3 servers (give or take the few that arent logged on)....that game wouldnt still be up. playing: darkfall |

/who all - gives all people at all levels on all chunks anywhere in the game except anonymous and roleplaying people. /who all 38 - gives all lvl 38 people in the game. /who all 20 30 - gives all people from lvl 20 - 30. /who all 20 30 cleric - gives all the clerics logged in that are lvl 20-30 /who has a 40 person cap If I recall you can also do /who all "guild name" with quotes for spaces and /who all username /who all count - give just a number of people that match the /who statement but the cap is increased to 200. Having /who all give only 38 would only happen following a reboot or if there are some network problems. Even the pvp server has 100-200 and peaks in the 300s.

It is utterly impossible for there to have been only 38 on-line on pve servers(can't speak for the pvp server). My guild has 20ish on pretty much 24-7. This either a troll post or user error, thanks. Have a nice day. |

It's obviously the pvp server which we already know is dead. Seradon, Xeth, even Halgar populations are healthy. |
|
|
There is no command in vanguard which tell you how many people are on a server. /who all stops at 40 For example: /who all on halgar at any chunk = 40 #who german (e.g. german channel) = 75

You are wrong though. People on here who actually play the game are telling you that /who all is your chunk. The all means all classes. Your chunk had 38 people in it. And that is good. playing: darkfall |

He/She is right. I do play the game and /who all shows all chars until it reaches the 40 limit. |

No you and boojiboy are wrong. /who give your chunk /who all give the server. boojiboy always tries to come off as the ultimate knowledge of things VG but if s/he cant even get this right it makes all his responses suspect. |
