I would also like to comment that the delay Tasos put out is very good news. The game is really solid and just needs some more time. An additional month feels like enough time to me. Far better than releasing it a month early after all these years of waiting. So again, this is very good news and people should be highly positive about it. Darkfall potentially is a game you could play for a very long time, I know I will.

Regardless though all leaks and crap aside.  Taking an extra month to get things in order is never a bad thing for a game.  It is only trolls and extreme fanboys that think otherwise in most situations.  So many asshats have so much riding on a game that hasn't even come out yet in regards to trolling or hyping that this is the result. 

I say save judgment until there is a game to judge. 

How can you say the game is solid when there are no player video leaks AT ALL? Lift the damn NDA before you mention anything about pre order

NDA's don't stop leaks for an actual product. Never have never will.

Anyone should be smart enough to know that they can create a fake account on say My Space and post leaks all day long with no chance of any repercussions from Aventurine.

The only reason you don't have more leaks is either 1) too few people in Beta to really matter or 2) there really is NO product and it is all a sham.

Sure, you'll be playing the paper Darkfall for a very long time maybe. Whether or not you'll play the actual product for a very long time is an entirely different matter.

When a beta is serious and spe. for an overhyped game, everyone knows a BT and most of time, "has an access" to CB. No one has an access to DFO. I know a lot of players and ancient BT, we made most of All BT together, I have been subscribed in many websites and NO ONE is beta testing this game/ Even DFO Cty staffs arent' in the BT (i mean websites like MMORPG.COM )   : DFO suporters are pure fanboys not even 1 BT in the base. Not even 1. Not a single.  They talk about things they never tried, saw and discovered. 

NO ONE. It's the 1st time there is NO LEAKS (so few LOL) NO DNA breaks NOTHING. Because there is no one on the BT (maybe 150 ?)

This new delay is a CHANCE not for the game but for devs because they can say what they want about the state of the game. Imo they are afraid to open the gates of DFO because it's going to be a DISASTER and the END of the DREAM.

They need to delay and delay and delay again,what they did since YEARS.

Of the few Darkfall beta leaks I have seen, all paint a pretty awful picture. Of course you can't confirm if they are true or not.

The only good news out of this is for the skeptics who are screaming "I told you so"....

You watch, in February they will postpone it to spring...then to summer....

If you have not figured it out yet, the only thing Aventurine is out to do, is out do Duke Nuken.....

I would agree with you if there weren't so many parties involved in the process: GNi server company, audiovisual publishing company, MMORPG Italia, Athens gaming convention, and the development team itself. If this was vapor ware or a scam then there would be much less people involved in it. Face it, the game exist, but due to the companies size they have had more set backs than most other companies. Doesn't mean everything is fine and dandy, but hey at least things are moving more forward than they have in the past.

If they are so confident of there game then the NDA is pointless at this stage of the game.

         Yeah same here...I know alot of people are putting their faith in this game as the next coming of UO but the stuff I ahve seen it looks more like a poor mans Vanguard.......I think alot of people are intrigued by the principles that the game is proposing but the actual implementation of that is what will make or break this game......The beta leaks I have seen on youtube offer little hope for this game, especially when factoring in a rinky dink company as the maker........I think there is an actual game but it wouldnt shock me if its basically the same game they started several years ago...... I jsut have alot of doubts that this wont be much more than a 2002 game being presented in 2009.......

The youtube videos aren't current. They are from 2007. The current vid is on another site frequented by europeans.

its nice to look at this that way. Yet I cant believe how many times I read things about Darkfall as the poster tells us like they know Tasos or who ever works for or posted for Darkfall. If you know anything about MMO's then you know they are going to tell you only what they want to say, will not tell you the 100% truth and if it makes them look better .. well thats well get said too.

The game needs more time because like last month, and before that it was not ready.  And did you read what he said? Do you really believe in one month you or anyone in the US will be playing?

For me I have to wait till I play the game then I will tell you if I am staying or what not.

 I'm calling shenanigans on this one. It's supposedly been in development for 7 years,was taking pre-orders for a release on Jan.22 and is being pushed back because it still ain't ready? Bullsh*t. How much more time do they need? If they can't get it right by 7 years then they need to get in another line of work because the next disco era will be here by then.This is not good news for anyone that got suckered into pre-ordering the game.
