What about play.com listing under golden joystick online game of the year popularity section putting AoC above vanilla wow + lotro?

Oh it is up to 17th rank now on play.com

From what I see - it is a good buy for the price, it is being brought again, people are still interested.

 

Before you fabricate things do a little research, out of all you claim AOC is a great game? is that why no one wants to even buy the new copies on ebay for 16 cents?

You noticed something odd about your post?

You say that AOc i listed in >games>adventure.
    When it is listed in >games>roleplaying.

You say that War, WoW, LotRO are all in different category.
   When WoW TBC, LotRO is in the same category as AoC.

What is funny is that though you are really trying hard to say otherwise...

Oh... You are picking what suits you. Even though that play.com is a seemingly big seller in Europe you mix things from US <> EU at will to make a point.

I will give you that, it have gone lower in the Amazon.com list. But the other guys are talking about EU sales.

WTF is going on? This have to be like first time in history a game would just rocket up to the top of the salescharts with no expansion pack in the works. Very strange, I expected a lot of resubscribers but it seems like there is like a horde of new players starting up as well.

It has also risen to 496 on amazon.co.uk

considering that a good burger, fries, and a beer will set me back at least 10 - 15 bucks here in the States I figure AoC is pretty much a bargain right now.

Something else has been mentioned that a lot of people got some killer upgrades for their systems this Christmas which helps people decide to buy as well.

AoC is starting off the new year right, and can only get better.

(PS: My new time card gets here Tuesday, and after my Tabula Rasa break, really ready to go back to a better game..)

AOC is down to $8 and holding #11

WOW has 4 differnet boxes in the top 20, including the 4yr old box that is a spot ahead of AOC.  Wrath, which sold 4M copies in the first month, is still at #2.

Warhammer is doing decent at #21.

Don't forget 17.5% tax :) That £7.99 would more likely work out to about $14 USD - just like a sub for one month.

So happy I emigrated haha. + kept all those £ in the bank there although I am not doing so good on exchange rates as this time last year.

Woah, has beer gone down though? Man I miss my Carling. Haven't been back in a couple years.

About Play.com though I still think it is a decent place to get games from, I never had any trouble in the past ordering. Although I'm guessing you could prob find the game @ WH Smith for the same price maybe.

AOC I advise you to really think carefully before wasting your money on this game.

It is a very very boring game and has really poor support worst ever IMHO.

It was the only game I ever played that felt like a Alpha each time I logged into it.

What it offers in innovation could be noted on the back of a beer mat ... very little.

If you are leaving WOW Lord of The Rings etc for this cause your bored ....dont.

Ex AOC multiple maxed PVE and PVP chars with long troubled gametime experience of this very poor game

Darkfall hasn't been postponed again. According to the developer and producer the game is still on track to release on the 22nd, but it will be distributed digitally

 

and it will be an extremely limited release and there are still no beta testers in the game who can talk about the game, except for a girl who is friends with the lead developer.

Twice now Tasos has failed to answer a question about 'servers'.. and makes it sound like the game will release with only 1 server on the 22nd, which means 10-15k players.

The Jan22nd release sounds exactly like a paid beta.... i'll be curious to see if they make those 10k players sign an NDA.
