I really hate all the negative doomsaying posts.

So, now the only question is if it will win the same award for 2009.

Well I decided to throw that in for those that don't hang on my every post.

Clearly the easy winner and just more proof that the game is being talked about on a massive scale in the MMO community, despite what the trolls keep insulting Aventurine about for some funny reason:  little to no marketing.

This is a stupid award, It didn't even release in 2008 and I have serious doubts it will release the 22nd of this month.

Even if it does release it will be a buggy piece of dung. I can't wait to see the fanatical fans go nuts when half the feature promises don't make it in and the ones that do are bugged to hades and back.

Hey!  Good to see you back posting again egg... it's been awhile.
 

I'm kinda surprised that DarkFall only won with a bit over 30% total actually.  If I'd have been a betting person I'd have bet they would have had over 50%... although I also would have bet that DarkFall's NDA would have dropped by now too.

Honestly when I first hear about darkfall back in 2003 I was actually interested in it. Then throughout the years of Tasos claiming the game was feature complete and ready for launch.. Yes he did this several  times over the last several years so excuse me if I am a bit cynical about this game now. Here we are 10 days from a supposed launch date and no relevant information is or has been released.

If it does launch he better hope that the game meets the expectations he set out to all the rabid fans or this game will tank hard and quick.

So you Tasos wary ...and thats justify you thoughts about the game ? Game ideas could come from various people in the team ..Claus, Kjetil etc..

Heh yea i pretty much decided to leave this site alone once the Release date came out for awhile as it was just pointless to deal with the breeding ground of trolls this forum has.  Good to see nothing has changed, and the same old trolls are finding new ridiculous things to bring down darkfall on.   I saw someone in another thread tell a newcomer to Darkfall that he should avoid the game because of one random dude on the internet posting a little out of line who also happened to be a fan of DF...just lol.

Also came back to 4 PMs from one member who apparently was so offended that i did not respond to his quip about Darkfall in one thread that he had to PM me over and over insulting me for liking DF.

Oh well....January 22nd will be an interesting day.

(p.s im also a little concerned about the lack of an NDA drop.  While other companies have done this in the past...it reminds me of AoC and that is never a good thing.  We will see in the next 10 days as it could all be fine if they announce an open beta and NDA drop.  It amazes me how people still dont just get how Aventurine works.  They are few and far between with their announcements, but in the past they have always come up with something HUGE after weeks of silence...love it or hate it, its how they opperate and stop trying to come up with doomsday nonsense because you still think they should be acting like company X)  (not directed at above poster)

This is one of those things people will laugh about years from now.
