Since I have been back, i've noticed alot of people on bismarck are turned away by level synq since you can't get skill ups if you level down. I do kind of see this as a problem expecially if you get 2-3 levels. Then you're that far behind now.

There's always something for people to complain about, it seems. I would just be happy knowing I can sync, but then, I've never been to the high levels, and am not sure how much those extra skill would help out. Then again, I can't really remember how bad it is at the low levels either, it's been a while.

Whatever ... if they don't want to then they don't want to. More party invites for the non-snobs of the game. You can always get a skill up party or use a job that is already higher lvl to raise yoru weapon level ahead of time. Can't please people like that and honestly I don't care if they are ever pleased. I just don't want them bitchy around me. You have two options about level sync. If you like it use it, if you don't then don't.
