well after searching for a few weeks, i came across a game i played back in 2006 and it was a fun game, and it was free so i save the usual 15$ a month for the game, the game is 2D, but its the gameplay is rly fun, and it holds you too your seat. I reccomend this game to anyone looking for that game you havent found yet, the Community pretty decent and can get to be a little crowded if you pick the right server. The pvp is fun, its has a text-based spell system so you feel alot more involved then just pressing 1,2,3,4....repeat. IF you havent guessed it yet, the game is Tibia. and i reccomend you give it atleast a few hours to see if you like it or not. Have fun and hope to see you in Tibia

Just thought id share my experience with tibia with you.  Back in middle school (ages ago) i came across it, i loved it, played it with even my lieelt dial-up connection where i lagged so bad a pally was impossible to play.  To this day i still go back every once and then to see whats up with it, and i can tell you theyve made strides you wouldnt believe lol.

The things that bothwered me about the game though are as follows:
1) WAY too steep of a death penalty, at 35+ you start losing entire levels which can be an entire week (casual play) of time, not cool.

2) This kinda relates to 1 again but the fact that on PvP servers anyone can just gank your ass for no reason, sure they get a skull now (didnt when i started) but that dosent mean you didnt just lose a level or two and possibly your gear plus whatever was in your backpack...

3) Brazilian players. These guys annoy the shit outta me, not to mention a lot of them aren't very bright.  Fortunately i met one who was the opposite of most, he was cool, curteous(sp too lazy right now), and spoke a good amount of english, which made it that much better.

Other than these 3 things though, i loved the game also, being isometric when you have AoE spells and the Field type spells which cause damage when enemies walk through them and then DoT afterwards adds a whole new level of strategy.  My only wish as far as improvement of the game is concerned is toning down the death penalty and maybe adding a class or two.

yeah the death penalty is kinda harsh kept me from going to a pvp server, i mean if on pvp servers you didnt lose but liek one item and 5% exp it would be find but its the same on the normal servers which sucks

hence why i started a char on a non pvp server, but then you have to deal with a shitload of botters and crowded higher level hunting grounds because people never get hunted or die cept from mobs, plus you cant train with summons :(.  I havent decided if imma stay on the non pvp server when i go back or not.

They're Brazilian, the game is European........ LOL.  And regardless, unless you've dealt with them, just stop speaking becasue your opinion is moot, if you have, well then that's a whole nother story.

You'd be surprised how many europeans can speak pretty decent english...

Anyhow id highly suggest this game for anyone who is PvP centric, especially the forced PvP servers where you get xp for kills.  there is a lot of strategy to use which makes the playing field kinda broad in PvP you just have to get over the 2-D graphics.  And there are PvE only servers also, in case anyone's wondering.

I can recommend Tibia, made a lot of really good friends in the game. Just be careful which server you play on, certain servers are run by high level guilds who just power abuse you and kill anyone for no reason.
