1.Tasos has stated repeatedly that they would not announce a release date until they were absolutely sure it would be met. They clearly understand the negative effects of a delay.

2. Tasos has also stated that DFO was more complete than many other mmorpg's 1 month after release (and that was in november)

3. Games that have not met their release date in the past have generally announced the release date 6 months to 1 year prior. Aventurine announced the dfo release date within 2 months. When you announce the release of a game in that short amount of time the game must already be completed (or extremely nearly completed).

4. There are relatively very few beta leaks and those that do exist are almost entirely positive. Also there are now over 1000 beta testers according to all the available information. Does any one really believe if the game was not ready or didnt deliver everything that has been promised that we would not know about if? If that were the case we all know there would be negative leaks everywhere.

5. According to mmorpg.it journalist beta started on Monday January 5th. If the game was going to be delayed why open journalist beta?

Or how about a , who cares! You people and these over-zealous threads. Is this a way to show the world your bored or blind? Why I say blind you might ask, i don't know, maybe look through the 5k+ other threads trying to be like you. Hey guess what, Aion in April!!!!

I am open minded and I'm not doubting what they say as there is no evidence to contradict them but I would want to see a lot more leaks before I could confidently say it's going to release fine.  The same also applies for negative comments, there's no real evidence it's just peoples speculations.

Hehe yeah I dont understand why you would be on the DF forums if you were excited about Aion.  The games are not ever close to similar.

Here's a Tip, go get L2 (or you prob already do since Aion looks so amazing to you), resubscribe but everytime you see Lineage 2, read it as Aion....YAY AION IS OUT ALREADY!

Darkfalls beta testers are staff and only a few hundred hand picked friends, forum moderaters and long term supporters and affiliated guild members.

There is no open beta for journalists, unless you are refering to Tasos friends like gianna and her Beta preview on the website they host for her.

Key word is RELEASE DATE, not "a general time".  Only been 1 my friend.
