I am very sad to announce that we will have to close the P2P Server “William Bligh”. We tried several things to rescue the server but it just turns out, that P2P Servers are not well accepted by BBO players. So the company management determined to close this server… a decision which wasn’t made lightly since it is the very first time we have to shut down a server. Finally I would like to thank all the BBO Players for the past months of dedicating time to “William Bligh”. It was you who made this server of what it is. Kind regards, Sensi

They have been saying for months that the pay to play server wont be shut down now they announce they are closing the server but expect us to keep paying our monthly fees till they close the server for us to get a 20€ Credit for the item mail on there Free to play server but we will probaly have to start with new characters some of us have been playing and paying on the pay to play server since beta....
We arnt happy and think people shouldnt even think about playing on there new game Rune of magic witch is currently in beta stage |

This game is awful anyway. The interface is about the worst i've seen in a game. The most fun with this game was the mini-games in the downloader. |

I have to say that it took longer than I expected for this to happen. As a long time VCO player(VCO and BBO are the same game, with different publishers), I always said it is impossible for you to go along in this game with a single account, with two characters that can´t interact(they don´t even have the possibility of a common WH, so they can exchange items). The closing of the P2P server was as certain as death and taxes. But I think Yusho should give the opportunity for people to migrate their long worked chars to the F2P server. Would be far more fair then just give People 25 bucks to buy IM. |
