I'll make a phone interview of the man the day after tomorrow, and I wondered what questions you would have for him.

Also any comment or suggestion you would make him.

Feel free to express yourself! 

All I really want to know is what we can expect from future expansions - specifically which areas of Middle Earth can we actually explore? 

Rohan? Myrkwood? Dale?  Lonely Mt? Fangorn?

Some of these places, as well as many others I wouldl ike to see, do not follow the fellowships path, but of course neither did Evendim or Forchel - So I am hoping they can work these areas in!

Steefel's position is executive producer I believe, not lead disigner.

Mounted combat, underwater swimming not neccsarily underwater quests but maybe you swim underwater to get to a secret cave, are new races a possibility, what happens after the ring is destroyed. I heard at that point the license would run out and they would be free to make the world the way they want. That's about it.

It would be interesting to hear his opinions of how the LotrO community reacted to Turbine hiring a Micro transaction manager anouncement! Even if it didnt have anything to do with LotrO still alot of people got worried that an Item mall would be put in LotrO.

I would ask:

1.  when will the virtue cap to be removed as well as other stats caps at 600.

2. Is it possible to have group interface design that you can join an open group in LFF, for example, if you see LFF 3/6 Grand Stair mins, guard, burg, if you are any one of them then you can join the group, the LFF become 4/6.

Oh... Here is one that really bugs me -  When will there be a RESET button on the Auction House - Am I missing something here? Or do you really have to manually erase each field when searching?!? 

Mounted Combat ? Is it being looked into for players as well as Monster players ? Also , when will there be new Monster Player zone ?

Melee combat animations for hunters. They are all the same. I would like to see some more diversity there. I bet other classes have simular issues.

Crafting: I would like to see more advanced crafting. Today all you need is a set quantity of resources and a piece of loot to make crit items. I would like to see more experimentation when crafting. Using different types of ore, hides, wood etc.

Why did they mess up class blance in MoM so badly? what are they going to do about it, and why aren't they discussing it more (Minstrels and RKs mentioned good.... LMs and Guardians they've been quiet about).

Why the shift to combat mechanics where damage is practicallly all important and avaoidances and debuffs have been rendered practically useless?

Why were melee/ranged damage types scaled higher and made more powerful than tactical damage and skill types?

Feedback from some class communities was very, very negative after the release of NDA. What is his reaction to reports that feedback from Minstrels and Loremasters was (is?) ignored till the end of beta.

My question:   What is the unannounced project Turbine is working on?

- What new areas are coming?

- What's the next new innovation? Legendary weapons were a brilliant addition, so what will be next in this area?

- Monster areas. I know PvP isn't the focus of the game, but I think over time, more will be added. The ability to actually level a monster from lvl 1 will only provide more incentive and attachment.

- What new tradeskills are coming?

- What new classes/races?

- Public Quests: WAR did them exceptionally well, except it would work so much better in a more dedicated PvE game such as LOTRO. Make it so. Please. The large scale battles in the 2nd and third books/movies would be prime candidates for this type of cooperative endeavor.

- Mounted combat - any chance on this?

1.How committed are you to staying as true and respectful as possible to the source material?

2.Can we expect to see any current zones open up more geographically (ie. fewer mountain walls where they're not wanted)?

Ask him whne he is going to wise up and allow Henchmen in the Epic  Chapters like DDO?  He is losing customers because lower level and new players can't find a group because everyone else is either soloing or in Moria.

I'd like to know if there are any plans to make new zones for lower levels.  Maybe a new 20's zone.  Or is everything from here out going to be building up from the top as the story progresses.  Like will every new zone they implement as the story progresses be higher level.

Yeah this too, and I really wish there was an item link capability to the Auction window.  I hate having to type out all these funky names they have for the items to see what they are selling at.   In WoW you can shift click on your item in your inventory and it imputs the name in the AH window.  Thats about all I miss from WoW..

Miss it no more, since the beginning you've been able to drag and drop items into the search field of the auction house to have it autofill :)

I would ask if Turbine is going to make a new asherons call, or is he going to wait for SOE to due another everquest first? Also he mentioned before that once Turbine was in a position financially to take some risks that they would do some more sandbox type games. my question is are they in that postion yet or are they close? IS there any future for the wordly type MMO at Turbine or should those fans look to another developer in the future. Is Turbine's future making innovative games or is it making innovative bussiness models..ie..taking existing games to console, adding microtrans, item shops, anything to get more money out of what they have..and designing new games for specific business models rather than specific desires of potential customers. If you could ask him that in a way that made sense though, if you can make sense of what Im saying that is.

In response to the last post, I too would like to hear more about their future plans. I would hope to see Turbine maintain some integrity and keep going in the right direction, meaning progressive new games and improvements upon their current titles; esp. LotRO. More sandbox type stuff would be great, especially if they expanded things like the housing system into the game-world proper with high end property in places like Bree and other zones. I'm not sure how else sandboxy stuff could be implemented into LotRO but I'm sure they could come up with a newish kind of game that's more open.
