I joined WW2O the day it released, but let my membership lapse when my son was born.  Thinking of coming back to see how things are (S! anyone from JG2!).  I saw it didn't work with Vista for a while.  Has that been fixed?

It works in Vista but is not officially supported although there is plenty of information for fixing any issues you run into. I found I had to right click on the ww desktop icon and set compatibility mode to "windows 2000". I just play it in XP, personally (I dual boot), but many play in Vista.

As long as a game is not pre the 32 bit era ,they should ALL work on vista.None of the games out today utilize multi processors,so some games you may have to disable one chip, and or you may need to set priorities and admin rights.

I play on Vista ,sometimes have to use Admin instead of open to launch it. It can be shut off in User accounts I think,so you can use normally,(User Accounts Control) then you need to reboot computer.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

I disabled UAC almost as soon as I got my new Vista PC. I haven't had any current and most of my older games give me any problems since. I highly recommend that if you have Vista and play lots of games, especially older games, that you disable UAC.

Give me an MMO without leveling and grinding. Please don't disappoint!
