I joined WW2O the day it released, but let my membership lapse when my son was born. Thinking of coming back to see how things are (S! anyone from JG2!). I saw it didn't work with Vista for a while. Has that been fixed? Feinder Pig-driver and bullet-sponge for JG2 |

It works in Vista but is not officially supported although there is plenty of information for fixing any issues you run into. I found I had to right click on the ww desktop icon and set compatibility mode to "windows 2000". I just play it in XP, personally (I dual boot), but many play in Vista. I play on Vista ,sometimes have to use Admin instead of open to launch it. It can be shut off in User accounts I think,so you can use normally,(User Accounts Control) then you need to reboot computer. (%) |

I disabled UAC almost as soon as I got my new Vista PC. I haven't had any current and most of my older games give me any problems since. I highly recommend that if you have Vista and play lots of games, especially older games, that you disable UAC. Let's party like it is 1863! |
