Yesterday I was looking threw my assets when I realized I was a freaking slob. So I Decide to clean out a few Stations I grabbed my Hoarder and started getting all my loot. While passing threw a newbie system (1.0) i found a old Vexor I used to use. Considering I haven't driven anything smaller then a BS in a long time I would give it a spin. I set the bad boy up with a flight of Tech II drones and ur basic pvp crap.
While Roaming around the newbie areas I came across a couple gung ho pirates tricking poor Ibis pilots by can fliping them and blowing them out of the sky. It bothered me a bit, I don't know why but it did. So I wrote the three pilots names down waited a few minutes and began to hunt.
I guess it was a good day for the newbies cause they were about to get one bad motherfucker getting payback for them. I found the first Pilot two systems over, He was all big and bad in his little Caracal So i bait him a bit and target lock, Drop a can and we go. Safe to say he lasts about 30 seconds. He bitches and moans and I reply with a GF and im gone as fast as I came. The next Pirate happend to only be in a frig so i figured I would just mess with him a little and piss him off. I decided to loot the guys wrecks he saw and instantly locked me ( which was a suprise) I tossed out my Target jammer and set my Drones out to finish him off. AS I left the system I told the little idiot his loot wasnt worth having and he shouldnt pawn 3 hour old ibis pilots, gave a wink and i was gone. Last Pilot was found a system over pawning some Miners. Funny thing was the guy was in a Vexor like mine. So i kill a couple rats in the same belt and wait fo rhim to loot my stuff. Sure enough like a tard He does and I MWD in for the tackle. Set my Nos and Nuet and Jammer on him and toss out my Ogre IIs and hammerhead IIs to finish the job. goodtimes, i head back to the original newbies system to get back in my hauler. Before I'm done for the day I send the original three Ibis pilots all three kill mails with a note to not let scumbags stop them from playing Eve And that there were actually decent people that play the game. One guy happend to have a one year old pve main he sent me a thank you mail and a few million isk for my troubles.
It was a good day....... Now maybe tomorrow I can actually finish cleaning out all my assets, still going to have to come back for that little vexor though.......
Edit: And people say Eve is Boring!!! lol www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/post/2548443/thread/217933#2548443 the vexor setup I used yesterday :) Why would I play a pathetic themepark MMO when I could enjoy a masterpiece like Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Dragon Age? |

Well done, and thanks for a good read. :) And yes, there is always something going on in EVE and if you know where to look (and dare to take action) there is lots of fun to be had.

LOL I wonder if it's a new year thing because I just did the same thing. The Assest cleaning part. The Vexor is a great ship to fly around in no matter how many SP's you have. Just keep your eye's open and look for an opportunity....Maybe you live; maybe you die. I really like having to keep looking over my shoulder for a BS and wondering if I can take down a BC. Great ship IMHO! |
