Im pretty sure Blizzard have said WoW ends in 2012, so ya, the world does end as we know it.

Yes world will end in 2012 cause thats when MMO games will all suck by then...EQII and Aion and SWG ect... will all have died. and there will only be crappy games like Darkfall and Runes of Magic and The worst of them all WoW

The world will not end in 2012 and no one said it will, the mayans and other ancient civilizations speak of a new beggining for the world, a turn of the wheel. In the mayans case they expect the arrival of their ancient gods, or some advanced alien race who alegedly had contact with them. I do believe in some major change on the world, but it will certainly not end.

okay guys to be clear, i didnt say i beleived the world was gonna end in 2012, and i didnt say that Nostrodamus was correct about any of his predictions. i mean this was just supposed to be a poll i made cause im bored, and i agree with the guy who said energy cant be created or destroyed, because as far as we know it cant be, this was just to straighten some things out, that is all.

As for the ending of the world,I do believe that the resetting process has already begun and by 2012 the wipe out process will be over and it will be time for a new begining.

I don't know about some hocus pocus nostrodamus stuff... nor other superstitious oracle predictions... howerver scientist have determined that in 2012 the solar system will be exactly aligned at the center of the milkyway galaxy... they furthur theorize that this may have cause an tilting of the earth's axis in past times in history.

As far as Nostrodamus or Mayan calander is concerened those are just superstitious coincidence,... where as science actually calculated our entering the center of the galactic equator in 2012

Here's the "big" if... if this causes the earth to shift by what the scientist think will be a shift from 5 to15% than that may cause a mass extinction on this planet... so I answer to this question... The World Will Not End... but maybe humanity will :)

He said a lot of things, but not one thing he said was ever brought up before it happened. Everything he said could be interpited in many different ways.

While  Nos has missed some totable predictions he's been on point allot. You can play the interpreted card how you like but I've read some of his quatraines. if his predictions are merely luck then I want ole Nos picking my powerball numbers.

I'll take my chances with his 79% accuracy.
