ok so me and my friend got a massive craving for CoX and we decided to play Villains this time around.  I am planning on a Ninja Mastermind (not sure what secondary skill yet) and my friend is planning on some sort of melee (leaning towards Stalker as we played Scrappers before).  We will make full use of the level pact system (it sounds so useful for us) and i hope we have a good time.

any tips for us? (highest Villains we played were 11and 12)

Keep a close eye on your minions.  They often run off after anything near by right when you need to rest up.

if your going Ninja Mastermind, I recomend choosing between Dark or Storm as your secondary.

As for Stalker,   the secondary of Ninjitsu is pretty good.  I would wait a long time before taking toggle powers though (it drains your endurance).  Primarys that are good, dark, ninja sword, for single target damage.  Other primarys are good too. 

you both should try the leveling pact system thats new.  before level 5, right click on your friend and choose leveling pact.

ok so a little update.  we are now lvl 8, i rolled a Ninja/pain (love those heals) and my friend rolled a claws/something (all i noticed was hide...and thats in every power pool for the stalker) and we are having a blast.

one question though.  We both love instance grinding (sewers were perfect) but i can't seem to find the Villain equivalent.  Anyone able to list similar instances along with their level range?

Theres sewer levels in Villains too, its all random.

In the next update (maybee 4 months from now?) you will be able to create your own missions I think.

the closest thing villains get to the low level hero sewers run would be... bank mission from mongoose.  it's quick and easily replayable for a few levels from 5-9 (give or take, depending on team composition, and if more than one person got the mish from mongoose, and what level they obtained said mish).
