I love this free month stuff with vanguard, seems like they give out a free month every 3 or 4 months. I just upgraded my rig, hopefully vg runs alot smoother. thanks for the heads up.

Is this posted anywhere else? I can't find it on the vanguard boards and my account is not reactivated. Hopefully I'm not left out. Anyone else having this problem? |

Patching as i write this.
I still have so much hope for Vanguard. I almost wish I did not. I might have had too much hope going into Vanguard, but the game has a spirit (I think, believe it or not) that is unlike most MMORPGs on the market.

im not trying to troll but i did play the first 30days of launch, and once i downloaded it again for the 14day...lets just say the download lasted longer then the gameplay.
sorry, there was somthing wrong with it then and its still there. good luck to those who have hung in there but new people this will not attract. |

After recently deciding to come out of my shell and advocate for the new and improved Vanguard after resubbing, they do something insanely intelligent like give out a free 30 days to vets. I really hope that you all give this game another shot. They have really cleaned it up and, contrary to popular belief and the threads of the naysayers, there is actually quite a healthy population. I imagine a lot of them are trials and vet returns but with the state of the game as it is I can see a lot of people resubbbing. Will we ever have the numbers of WoW or other comparable big name MMORPS? Hell no! But i can assure you there are quite a few people right now to make the game enjoyable and fun.
While I understand a great deal of you have a lot of ill will towards SOE(ill will is a pretty weak word for some of the stuff I see on here), I implore you to give Vanguard another chance for free and see for yourself all the changes they have made to make this game a dream for some of us that enjoy such depth. If nothing else it can be a cheap 30 day distraction for the holidays after we all spent way too much money on presents for others. As always, I understand Vanguard is not for everyone but if you are looking for a mature, deep and overall immersive game with many classes, each of which play dramaticlly different(music to the ears of us altoholics as we now have a reason to keep creating that other player). A game that offers hours upon hours of engaging game play in adventuring, diplomacy, crafting and an all new, interactive fishing system. Vanguard may just be the game for you. Come back in or join the trial. I do not think you will be disappointed. I hope to see a few of you in the game
