It looks like something a 15 year old would do. What has the woman got to do with anything? And I don't like the mixed font or what you might call it for the text of title. You should have stuck with the same font for all the letters, preferbly the one with the three first letters. It all looks kinda cheap in a way. Maybe good for some soft porn game. *shrugs*

oooh. the fancy, sucking bloom filter. The nice touch of white glow around the letters. And I see you found out about the emboss layerstyle, how neat. Ah, and different fonts even! Surely, this peace solidly shows your comptence with PS!
err... sorryy about that. but really, I think you are overdoing it with the effects. this look like a sig or the splash screen crackers like to make. It just looks like its your first time in PS, and you're having way to much fun wih the fancy effects.
My idea would perhaps be to minimize stuff. Fix up the composition. What's her(his?) face doing up there right under the frame? As of now the whole composition has too much "weiht" on top. Try to push the whole image down. My brutal opinion though is thaht I think you should start over. Hello there, adventurer! |

I kinda liked the color scheme on the first one, but the picture for this one is defiantly a lot better. One suggestion, on the login box, the semi-transparency is a nice touch, but I'm not quite sure if the contrast between the top half and bottom half is a good idea though, the bottom might need to be a little lighter maybe. If you squint your eyes, the darkness on the bottom gives it a slight illusion that the password box is bigger than the username box... The 3D on the large text is good, maybe you should do something with the tiny text though, I think it counteracts the 3D aspect of rest the image. Other then that it all seems professional, except I have a feeling that something isn't tweaked quite right on it, I can't place it though... Sorry for nit-picking :( - Barrikor |

Look at some existing login screens for similar mmos
The background is still way too chaotic (i have no idea what it's supposed to be) Maybe you should post some information about the mmo it's supposed to be based on.
The login should psyche people up to want to play the game more (epic music is another way to do this) Ofcourse it should be functional first and foremost so the area with the login needs to stand out or at least be clear, when I look at yours the background is interfering with the letters. The drop shadow looks very cheap also.

I didn't see the original, so here is my impression of this one:
Until I had read the posts, I couldn't tell what the background picture was...and afterward, I could tell, but still it seemed bizarre.
The Logo is still unappealing. I suggest using a stylized logo that includes more than just words. Also, those two fonts seem to be locked in battle (they clash).
The background color in the data entry fields seems to clash with the rest of the login screen overall.
A good login in screen should make you burn with the desire to log in, merely gazing upon it. Currently, the log in screen makes me think: “wtf?” It should have some very chill, inspiring music, and non-erratic calming visuals... or perhaps some heavy Carmina Barata style music and a animation taht urges you to enter.

First Impression: 80's Dayglo explosion. Impression after a few minutes of really taking it in: I get the difference in the fonts, but I don't think you really need to do that. It would look more visually appealing if you used the "Lore" font for the whole thing. Also, you have got to tone down on the dayglo and pastels. It's not that it looks bad, it's just too much. |

Hmmm... I actually like it. The only thing I would do is maybe stick with the same font for the game title, but other than that, I think it looks really good. Nice job! |
