A Druid would be the best solo class imo. |

Without a doubt go for the hunter class, its almost made for solo play. You'll stil need a group for most 'group' labled quests but with anything else hunters the way to go. Feign death ftw! *LordRelic on Age of Conan nudity: Why cant people leave this be? Yes there are boobs.. god smite the man who made them..oh wait..... |

Ditto on druid......feral build
Stealth..bear..cat..easy mode at about the mid 20's when cat really kicks in
Hunter with a pet to take much of the aggro another favorite for solo
Paladin may prove interesting if your so inclined |

It's all personal pref i supose.. HUNTER.. I've tried most clases upto around level 20 and most can solo very effectivly although i've always fubar'd mages, can't play those if my life depended upon it.
Just try every class till about level 10, thats when most get their feel. *LordRelic on Age of Conan nudity: Why cant people leave this be? Yes there are boobs.. god smite the man who made them..oh wait..... |

Hunter is for suckers! j/k
I'll echo some of the support for Druids, but will toss in advice for warlock. Not only do you get pets, but they're dam fun with all the options for PvP. My druid's been dormant for a little while, but I really enjoyed raiding some of the large Horde cities. My record in Orgimar is 20 minutes lol. Ico |

I personally like my hunter and pally for solo gaming. Pally is good cause you get metal armor and healing right away. Hunter is also good because of the pet but ammo takes up a seperate bag slot. |

if u gonna solo and want to train to 50 fast hunter is the way to go. druids are good soloers too but hunters kill much faster making it easier exp therefore faster leveling....... http://s11.gladiatus.com/game/c.php?uid=123451 |

Don't roll a hunter. You will hate yourself later down the road. |

ive been playing the trial for the last 2 days, i expected ugly graphics but its nicely polished, tho i dont set high standards as i play ao too. game seems alright so far (lvl 4 now woot:P), i went in without checking what class would be best so i rolled a human warlock and started the questing, it gives u something to do. someone also offered me 50s to sign a guild charter but sadly trial accs cant sign it :P |

Feral druid is a good way to go. A good mix of abilities which if you arn't 100% happy with might show you which class you might prefer. |

Honnestly, don't even worry about soloing at all. Blizzard designed every class so it has the ability to solo. Even classes you usually would expect to have difficulties being able to solo such as priests can solo just fine in WoW. I noticed you're playing a rogue, A rogue is quite a good solo class. Just stick with that one. Play the class you enjoy playing and don't worry about being able to solo because no matter what class you pick, you can always solo. |

As many others have said hunter is a great solo class for levelling and pretty good for pvp too later on. Don't write the rogue off though as even though he will struggle with multiple mobs he has the best single target dps in game and the best survability by far. You just need to level it a bit to get the key skills. PvP with a rogue whilst not the easy mode that many say is certainly very strong. But it's one of the easiest to level on a pvp server as you can pick your fights and if there's too many red names at a quest spot stay stealthed for 5 min till they move on (as opposed to doing a gy run). Warlock is good too for levelling allowing you to breeze through and take group quests and elites near your level which other classes can't touch. They've been nerfed pretty heavily in pvp now so many other classes should be higher on your list if that's your priority. Paladin is another strong solo and good pvp class although the play style isn't to everyones tastes. When you get to 55 you might want to consider a Death Knight. They are very strong for both levelling and pvp. _________________________________________ |

The easiest beginner solo class right now is a protection warrior. You can take on 3 or 4 monsters at a time with ease. Get a nice shield and 1 hander and you'll pretty much kill nonstop. Druid is also a good choice but can't handle the same amount of targets at one time as a warrior, even with bear form. You CAN handle the truth...it's just really slippery. |

Hunters were built to be a solo class, that is litterally their purpose. But I've leveled pallies and they're fast (go ret until you can do dungeons then switch holy). However I've heard shammies have zero downtime, haevn't played one though. But yeah Hunter is the best way to go imo. Originally posted by GTwander: How are you an MMO? Or any of us for that matter? Don't think about what is easiest to solo - think about what is going to be the most fun to play and will suit your play style. As an above poster said: all classes are balanced so that they can hold their own equally in solo play. It's just some require a little more work to do so. |
