No it is unchanged, leveling to 50 is pretty fast anyway and 50-60 doenst take that long.

If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd

The thing is that this is not an "end game" game.

It doesn't matter if you get to top level fast because it's all the small stuff in between that matters. What does happen for some is that htey get to top level and then either work on things such as traits or crafting or making alts.

There are a few raids and of course Monster Play (which is the pvp portion of the game).

However, if you are looking for more of a pvp game then I'm not really sure LOTRO would be for you. I say that if you are asking about being higher lvl in order to pvp.

I just can't see that happening without that person being power leveled in some way, shape or form.

Lots of quests, mobs, and zones have been made easier since launch.

The Old Forest comes to mind.  Place is a walk in the park now.  Before you didn't dare enter it alone.

Yes most of the things were made easier but it happend before this Xpac I believe. Although some things are still very tough at 40+ atleast IMO.

Oh things got that easy? Well I guess I need to hit high levels for the real challenges!  Can't wait.

The entire Moria is alot more challenging than how it was pre-expansion. The mobs are alot tougher and requires you to pay attention to what they are doing.

Well, if you are a person that plays a game 24/7 (like some seem to), obviously leveling will be fast. But as someone who plays a couple hours a day, leveling is pretty slow (I'm up to 35th after 5 months).

Geebus...thats a long time, and to the person above saying that someone couldn't get that Runekeeper to 58 without being power leveled is silly.  If you know what ur doing {and this would obviously be a person's alt you can level very fast}, and not only that if you've being crafting you can also make crit versions of gear that are a rather good improvement over normal gear to have even more advantage on that alt!

I have a Minstrel at 50, havn't yet purchased or played MoM, but I also have another level 40 minstrel that only took me 3 days to get, cause I knew where to go and avoided group quests, etc.
