It is better then diarrhea. Busdriver you might want to see a doctor about that, so you can get out of the house more.

They might be popping a bit faster now, but how many weeks was it where you would wait 20-30 minutes? Yeah, thought so. In the beginning on any scenario you could get out and be back in another one in a couple of minutes. So the company decides to shoot themselves in the foot, lose a lot of their player base and then fix it, and you think all is well now? Now that is LoL! It is pretty easy to get new players, damn hard to keep em, and even harder to get them to come back.

If you have never played WAR and you are currently playing WoW you might as well stay there if you want mild PvP, just an endless BG/Arena type of fighting in WAR, which you can get in WoW. Only difference is that at least with WoW you get great PvE content, WAR offers next to nothing outside of scenario's with occasionally great RvR. Not a whole lot of WAR in WARhammer. I always recommend people to at least try the game out, but don't come to WAR expecting massive PvP fights. While they do occasionally happen they are the exception and not the rule. In the end if you enjoy WAR play it, if you prefer WoW play that. There WILL NEVER be a general consensus on games.

As for credibility with you, you obviously place a lot more stock in yourself than anyone else. I could give two squirts of P_SS as to what you think of me. The game was going down the drain and in order to keep an appearance that its going great they merge servers and offer free transfers, to you that might seem like a good idea, however to most people its a sure sign the game is tanking. While I have little doubt that WAR will be around for some time, it offers nothing more than WoW-BG fights. The subscriber base has not increased much, all they did was shift the available players around. Last check on Waralytics and the total population isn't really growing or shrinking, however that may change when the canceled accounts start filtering in, or if people get bored of Lich King and come back. The game has potential, and some day it might become the game that most of us hoped it would be from day one.

You can keep going on with blinders if you must, companies count on players like you to prop up failing games. I looked forward to WAR for a long time, and while it was interesting in the beginning the luster quickly faded. Bout the only real thing to do is hop and pop scenario's all day, I have had days where the RvR is great but when you average it out its few and far between.

On a side not genius, my comment about DC being a ghost town was directly related to Lich King release as I plainly stated. I can go round and round with you all day and all night, but if you are gonna try and flame or talk shit you should probably practice a bit more.

Tired of getting rolled day in, day out, week in, week out as an Order player in and outside of scenarios.  Tired of being badly outnumbered.  Tired of every zone I get into being Dest. controlled.

And irritated by the fact Mythic is nerfing one of the only 2 bright spots of the Order roster, since everything else there is a joke.

Anyways, I too once said I'd never quit a certain MMO, but the developers usually seem eager to throw reasons when you say things like that.

 

It all depends on server choice... last I checked order pretty much controls my server.... well in so far as any time destruction goes to capture stuff order follows us around capturing behind us then rolls us with 2 or 3 to 1 odds most times lol.  But it's all good, as far as nerfing one of the only 2 good classes on order side? wow, I must either really suck at my class or destruction in general mostly sucks on my server because it seems from my perspective that order gets all the love while destro... lol I can not even get my epic quest reward shield working since they refuse to patch ANYTHIGN having to do with destro lol.

Mythic basically has until 1.1 comes out as to whether or not I will continue playing.  They nerfed the fug out of chosen at the end of beta and with the buffs to everyone's dps and 0 buffs to our survivability I just don't feel inclined to play as much as I would want to.  However, that is a good thing in some respects :)  more dates, better grades, better work performance lol.

There are very, very few servers that Order is dominant.  You're probably playing on one of those.

But I was on one of the other "usual" servers where Destruction has a very decisive stranglehold, in and out of Scenarios.

Like I said in another post, I'm not putting my money down anymore to play in such conditions.  The incentives to play are certainly with Destruction now, and not with Order.  Mythic better find a way to actually balance the sides, otherwise on the majority of servers, Destruction players will be playing a PVE game only against Order NPCs.

I came to the conclusion after playing as an Order player that the only purpose for us was to give Destruction points.

I do not have faith Mythic will entice things enough on the Order side of the game to actually balance out the faction populations.

 Honestly, I had paid up to the end of december and haven't logged in since the halloween event. I got to tier 4, realised that not only did things not get better but actually got worse, and then got tired of wondering around in a completely empty landscape as players faded in and out of scenario(yes, one) constantly or farmed keeps back and forth for gold bags.

Canceled my account because war 's community is coming from Wow: they never play open RvR, NEVER, they're always on BG, channels are dead, this game is cool but made for Wow fans; not  for daoc players.

Really wanted to love WAR but there just does'nt seem to be the Hook to keep me playing ... I have just gone back into Lotro after the Expansion and having a blast. I know they are different type of games but for me anyways I think WAR is lacking in Atmosphere or maybe A good story line ? TBH it did get me playing Scenario's and a little RVR but sadly I just hav'nt the desire to keep playing.

Perhaps if they added more of an engaging storyline or more Solo content it would entice me back , I just dont know ... with an IP like Warhammer it should be compelling to play it just is'nt ... reminds me of the best most spectacular firework you ever saw fantastic and mind blowing for a short time and then nothing ...

I just resubed using a 60 day game card. Last time I played was since release and wow im having  a lot more fun this time around.. no regrets. There was actual ORvR and it was awesome lol. Theres still some problems but I feel its getting better and Im enjoying my self for now.

If patch 1.1 is everything it sounds to be and they continue the trend of lowering server numbers to better populate the servers I'll be keeping my sub.  Right now I'm on the fence mostly because I wanted the ORVR experience not the Scenario experience.  THe game is good and has promise so I'm not disgruntled its just not in the shape I'd hoped for due to poor gameplay design decisions which are thankfully remedied with some time and care.  

I got my fingers n toes crossed and eagerly await 1.1   My friends and I are starting fresh ones on Skull throne since they actually had a successful seige ... poor Order learned you have to defend your city unless you want to be heavily taxed to death to just use the bank much less the AH at the refugee camp rofl. 

There is consequence to losing your city...Skull Throne Destruction just introduced that pain to order a few days ago hehe.

I haven't written the game off yet.  My sub ends in a week, and I probably won't resub for a while.  I don't really like how the inevitable happened and it's all about RvR.  No one is ever doing PQs on my server pretty much in any tier and the PvE isn't too fun (and the exp is crap compared to RvR). 

My time in WAR was spent in scenarios which I really liked, but open RvR is a joke since no one's ever doing anything (again, a server issue).  I also have some balance beefs, but I'm not staying away forever.  I just need time to reflect, haha.
