Btw i want to see how people run around naked in DF while they don't level skills. What do you then, running around watching grass grow? Sounds fun to me... not.

 

 

Actually he fails to argue against me....having a guild with a tiny portion of a giant map has nothing to do with losing gear...

 

losing gear in wow would be a disaster since the entire game is based on spending hours upon hours geing a piece of gear

that's all there really is...gear

 

 

in DF you can be in a huge guild building keeps, you can have a fleet of ships, you can be a small group of crafters, you can be a lone wolf, it's your choice

 

 

Why are Darkfall fans always trying to be so "romantic" about their own game? Darkfall is also about "stuff". every mmo is. Character progression is always key. A fleet of ship, crafted items, all possesions and "stuff".

Wow, amazing, you can be a "lone wolf" in darkfall.
It's called soloing and can be done in just about every mmorpg released since 2001 with few exceptions.

amazing! So you can stand together in a small spot and craft together and perhaps trade materials every now and then, this is also possible in just about every mmorpg around.

Yes, but what is truely amazing is they know all these things without ever actually playing the game or evening seeing it played.

I personally hope the game is decent, I would really like to see it succeed, but none of us will know what is actually in the game until after it is released.  It is nice to dream, but when some start believing those dreams are facts it lends itself to the ridiculous.

1. It's troll bait.

2. Nobody really knows if Darkfall will be any good yet. A bit of optimism is ok, saying it will be the next coming when you've never played it is not.

3. Accept that people like different types of games. Chances are, people who enjoy WoW/WAR/whatever won't enjoy Darkfall. Baseless hype won't change this.

4. That's the old fan-trailer. At least use the new one.

The fucking game is supposed to launch in less than 2 months and they don't even have the balls to open it up to the general public or even editors to review it.

I wish people would stop linking the 2 year old version of the 'Darkfall is coming' video. muffins has made an updated version, using footage from all the recent videos, here it is.

Actually based on everything that HAS NOT been released from this game 2 months from a lauch  I would say the only ones looking like they're about go extinct are the people who actually followed this nonsense for the last 7 years.
