From the referral program FAQ:

"The first ten (10) Guests who are invited to participate in this Referral Program by a Customer who has special Founder pricing terms may take advantage of the Founder pricing terms also. Please visit www.lotro.com/founder for more information regarding the Founder pricing terms."

So they can get the $199 lifetime or $9.99 monthly price.  I also thought there was something about getting another 15-30 days free after subscribing, but I am not finding the information on that now.

I have been bouncing between EQ2 and WoW, with slight detours into War and AOC, and need to find myself a game where I can actually relax and smell the roses without having someone push me head first into the thorns because I am not leveling/gearing up fast enough and it sounds as though LORTO might be just the ticket.

LOTRO is on my Christmas list  and if I don't get it I'll buy it for myself to take advantage of the Christmas deal on the monthly enrollment.  Untill then I'd like to give it a try and would appreciate  a buddy key .   I have played WOW for years so expect to like LOTRO quite a bit.
