I'm a serious if casual player, been in since closed beta.  But a RL means I've had to take time off sometimes...  I'm an officer in The Crafting Union (which despite name is more raid-oriented than craft-oriented).  But I keep them legit, as my official officer role is "Crafting Goddess."

We are, btw, a mature (it's a state of mind, not an age -- we run from teens to elders), friendly, kind-to-each-other but not humorless, RP friendly kinship, open to likeminded players.

i also have Amariori and Amariaran, 38 champ and 38 LM respectively... and any "Amari" in the Fellowship of Friends is me actually (I have 2 accts and 6 characters on each lol)

the only two non- "Amari" alts i have are my hobbitses Guard and Mini duo- Kyuti "Cutes" Mudbottom and Patootie "Toots" Mudbottom (can you guess which is the minstrel? ;) lol)

12 Chars?  Oh man, that's....thats more alts than I have had in all my years of EQ, WoW, and LotRO combined.... Congrats!

hah!  then you'd probly be shocked to hear how many i had in DAoC after 5 years of playing...

i had FOURTY-THREE!!! alts altogether across 4 accounts at the time i had finally quit that game...

8 level 50s, 6 in their 40s, a dozen or so in their 30s and the rest a myriad of alts in an assortment of levels from 1 thru 30 

yeah, i had no life and played that game WAAAAAY too much lol... i'm much more relaxed and casual now with my only 12 characters across 2 accounts in LotRo  

That's actually impressive to be able to keep them all straight!  I am considering a 2nd account...it'd be just convienant to have a hunter or minstrel just follow me around everywhere.

it very much so is!, and thanks to lotro's special settings of skill target forwarding and show vitals of your target's target, it makes it a lot easier to dual box in many ways once you create a very convenient /follow alias (which is now such a habit i do it first thing upon initial creation of a character lol

pairing a mini with classes is a lil tough tho, you need a hearty class that can keep agro off the mini- guard, champ or warden, and maybe even a hunter if you go with an evasion type build and stick with strength stance.  otherwise you end up with a tanking mini that can do nothing but heal itself while the other beats down the enemy.

captain/hunter is quite an amazing duo tho and one of my favs thus far, between the buffing and healing of cptn, and the hunters dps, you can clean house on a lot of crazy things, especially with brief pre-fight preps of triple traps and focus and food and scroll buffs.  as well, between the captain's summoning ability @ 40, and the hunter's porting, you can get in and out of 98% of everywhere, altho you'll find you'll want to keep a good 3 or 4 STACKS of travelling rations lol... but it's particularly nice when farming because you never really need to stop for selling- load up the hunter with the junk, port him out to sell while you keep going with the cptn, when ready, stop long enough to summon him back to you ;)

an amazingly fun duo, altho a bit squishy and bit more complex to play, is a champ/LM duo, great farming duo with all the aoe'ing, some healing with LM, plus 3rd 'player' with the LM's pet in the mix.  and once your LM can rez, can be really convenient/great long as you can keep all the agro on the champ. and with the LMs CC you can take on some pretty crazy stuff if you can keep tabs of everything going on and remember to remez adds and watch the distances with your aoes

and i'm working on a warden/RK duo now, but have only played them thru the intro thus far so dont have too much to say bout them yet, warden is still a lil squishy thus far, but the RK with rune healing and healing keeps him going pretty well, so it promises to be some intricate fun :)
