Nothing essential, but something I really just was sitting here and shook my head. I got an email from GOA today, telling me how it was unfortunate that I did not further subscribe to WAR and maybe I would partake in a little survey. So, I thought, why the heck not. So I clicked the link, and it said "The Survey is now over, thanks for participating". WTF! GOA is really too damn dumb to pee a hole in the snow!! Sorry for the wording, but this company really ires me without end. Due to the nature of the email, I could not even reply. They really DESERVE desaster like NO ONE else does! ><

I got that mail too, I have tried to take the poll, but the poll server (frenchtelecom.com or some such) was incredibly slow, so I gave up after the second question, since it took over 1 minute in between clicking 'next' and the next page appearing... and I have 20Mbit connection. An incident like that only confirms that leaving WAR and it's GOA hell was the right thing to do.

They asked good questions but the multiple choice answers didn't fit the issues I had with the game. So I couldn't give any feedback that would help them have retained me as a customer anyway. So I had the same reaction as the OP from actually taking the poll. Being able to choose the skills you want to use, offers much less variety than pre-made class based systems. -Future Game Developer |

just did the survey, tried to do it this morning when i got the mail but kept getting a no such server response.....fixed now though the survey works fine. Don't know if you can run it? |
