With so many recently resubbed AoC players it would be good to hear what people like the most. We have a similar thread in the AoC official forums, lets see if we can keep this one as much as that one on topic. Feedback high fidelity style. 1. Combat system (Speed up combo tweaks enhance the performance of the system in PvP) 2. Sieges (Any type really) 3. Ymirs Pass 4. Raid content 5. Consequence PvP

1 The music is excellent. 2. Its Conan 3. The npcs have unpredictable aggro activities so you have to pay attention in some areas. And not to derail but with the moderating policy at the official forums did you think it would be anyting but on topic. |

Graphics and the fact that it failed. Proving a big ad campaign, shiney graphics, and lies, will not sell an MMO.

I agree. Failure of AoC was actually a WIN for the MMO community. Sure we lost one game but we gained so much more. We send a clear message to all MMO developers out there: Don't f*ck with your customers! Next time some unethical Game Director has a bright idea of LYING to the community about everything, he might think twice before doing so. Also I hope this will help investors understand how important it is to delay the release of an unfinished game as many times as it's needed. If they had worked with AoC for one more year, it might have been huge and we might have had all those features they promised. |
