Some more info about this ladies beta experience, short and sweet. Looks like you can see people pretty far away with mousing over them. Also, she compares shadow on and off in one screen.

The screenshots look horrible IMO, IDK how the game looks so bad on her machine. She says its on default and I believe she is using a 9800 GX2 graphics card. Graphics looked much better in the Italians screens and they said that was on default with 9800 GTX in the Grece office.

The graphics look fine to me, I'd say the problem lies with your machine, no problem here.

Yeah I don't understand the graphics complaint, it looks average or maybe even slightly better than most mmorpgs to me.  They are much better than the most popular mmorpgs.

The graphics look fine to me, I'd say the problem lies with your machine, no problem here.

 

My machine is a GTX 260, 4GB RAM, Intel Quadcore 9450. No problem for any games so far, her machine is very powerful as well. I was just wondering how her "default" settings look so poor compared to the ones in the past few weeks.

The graphics in this game look good enough, I'm jut saying, her screens look so much worse than the ones we have seen and videos we have seen the last few weeks from others in Greece.

Hopefully this series of "reviews" will not drag on too much longer and we can see the game ourselves. 

She is still only showing the starter areas, watch this be a new way of Aventurine making people just sit in the forums another year, they release 3-4 screens each couple days until they have shown all the areas lol.

At least its something though, nice to have updates or whatever this is, each few days instead of just a paragraph of vague comments by tasos each few weeks.

Yep same here.  I dont see how people can call them horrible...especially when you compare it to a game like WAR but it is all personal opinion.

Seems way more people think they are fine or above average so im positive that they wont be an issue in terms of pulling in subs.  That plus anyone who really woulnt play a game because the graphics arent top notch, especially in this genre, is just not worth discussing.

Yea, these graphics are not bad at all, looked much better than WAR in the Atehns video. Warhammer had good graphics as well if you have a good machine and play on highest, but different style. Some animation is pretty bad in Darkfall, but that can be fixed.

What I want to see are all the features they promised, how much is really in the game at launch? Age of Conan promised a ton and was missing about 50% of the features at launch, how complete is Darkfall  wonder? COME ON OPEN BETA!!!

I hate the fact that we should be in open beta by now from what they said in the Athens event("Open beta Will End by Early December"). But, this lady says a few hundred people are in the beta at least, maybe we will get to try soon.

Agree. Cant understand the complaints to be honest.

I think her screenshots is very nice.
