Even with unlimited monthly subscription i can't play 10 hours a day. I mean, get a life. Look at WoW, someone died of playing 3 days straight (or is it 4 or 5 days?). People die. |

Wow ten hours a day. I wish I could have that much time to play a game I loved. But four kids and a wife.....hmmm lemme check with them to see if its ok. Is it the fact that people are mad cause someone told them they can only do something for so long or, they want more time to play. |

You all know Korea, China, and more countries every year, have laws that limit the online gaming usage in multiple ways. It's not a communist threat. It's a measure for health, based on of multiple cases of death and irresponsibility related to online game addiction. I think 300h/month (10h/day) can be seen as something acceptable that only disrupts the people's life as 1)the farmers' who will get less adenas and anyway should be banned by the EULA if ncsoft did his job right -maybe Buddha shows in front of the GMs and illuminates them-, 2)the rl addicts', who would play more. Now while I understand this view, I would prefer for these limits to _not_ exist, because it's not that *uncommon* 10h longer gaming sessions -with breaks in the middle, duh- when in vacation, game release, etc. But because of a few addicts who need rl help, we all pay for it, just like the rest of addictions. |

My god, you must be joking , first off, the 300 hour play time is ONLY FOR KOREA, IT IS A LAW IN KOREA FOR A #)) HOUR LIMIT BECAUSE PEOPLE PLAY MMO'S TILL THEY DIE. Second off, if you play 300 hours a month, (10 hours a day) and you complain that is is not enough, then you need to get a life. Next, I wouldn't say tha tthe ip is unknown, because it is from NCsoft, a very well known mmo company. And as you can tell, most games with famous ip's (cough, AoC, Warhammer, cough) turn out to be pure hype, and are rushed out of production and given to you half finished. Next, Combat is newer then it looks, it is a refined Combo system, almost refined to perfection, The combat is also very fast paced. Combat in this game also requires intense focus, and one mess up with a mob your same lever will kill you. You can not eat a cookie while raiding like in WoW. And you can compare all graphics with one another, but one thing that makes these graphics, is that you dont need a 3000 dollar machine to run it, you could run it with a 900 dollar machine on max.

I think the timer is like 2 hours (not sure about the exact time but its around there). Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |

*Points out the fact that the OP and 90% of the people who posted on the first pages of this thread made themselves look like a collective bunch of un-informed Trolls with severely bad grammar* There there kiddies, that's what you get when you jump the gun and listen to people that type the first half of there topic title in caps lock, and don't know how to spell ''Graphics'' or ''it sucks''. |

For anyone with any responsibilities outside in the real world this 300 hours is not an issue. Those of us with jobs and families are lucky to get 30 hours a month. |

One of these days I'll stop being shocked at how absolutely stupid the gaming community is.
If you took just a moment, a MOMENT, to do some research, you'd see those 300 hour limits are in accordance with Korean law. On top of this, most people in Korea play at cyber cafes, where being charged by the hour ends up being more practical than being charged by the day ~anyway~.
Most game subscriptions, if not all, in Korea, work under this model. Have you ever seen it in the USA? No of course not, we have this wonderful little thing called a Democracy; this means that if we want to sit and play a video game for 24 friggin hours a day WE CAN. It's our hearts, if we want it to burst it's all good, no one gives a shit.
Grow the hell up and stop posting stupid shit everywhere. "Forums aren't for intelligent discussion; they're for blow-hards with unwavering opinions." |

300 hour/month is basicly as much as having 2 full time 40hr/week jobs. if you need to play more than that, there is something wrong with you. seriously wrong. |

Sigh, OP is ignorant. That's for the Korean version, and it's mainly because the koreans spend alot more time in MMO's then we do. I'm guessing they'll have a different payment plan for the EU/NA release. |

If you play over 10 hours a day, you should definetely be limited. Think before you type. |

I believe the Korean paycard structure is also based on the fact that alot of gamers play out of internet cafes....likely to be riots if the same person hogs a computer for any more than 10 hours....and if it's like what went on in China( with people killing themselves from neglect and exhaustion), then the government themselves may limit play per day to a certain number of hours. I don't think this will apply to NA or EU markets...idk for sure though. 10 hours a day seems like more than enough imo. |
