Tuesday, i got home from work, and logged on to warhammer, to see we had a transfer. I could go from badlands server to 3 other servers. So i chose a server, left a message for my guild where we were going, and proceeded to transfer all my toons over.

Half an hour after i began playing on my new server, Volkmar, i get a call from a friend and guildie, saying he cant go from badlands to volkmar. Turns out, they had CHANGED badlands to a destination server.

Ok, no problem, ill just appeal, surely they will just return my characters to the badlands server, since it is THEIR mistake. It was one of their people who made the error, and then changed it.

So i appeal, and the csr comes, and hes very nice, and he apologizes for the mixup, and im feeling pretty good about things. And then he drops the T word on me.

"We cant guarantee we will fix the problem, but we will TRY", and yoda is screaming in my ear " Do or Do Not, there is no TRY!"

So i decided to call customer support, and after listening to some hideous song from rock band over and over 7 times, i finally got someone on the phone. He was extremely unhelpful, basically telling me there was nothing he could do, because the people who could fix my problem were in another building, and apparently he isnt allowed to communicate with the people in the other building. I asked to speak with his supervisor, and was told that wouldnt be possible, and that i would have to deal with it in game.

Today is friday, i've been on the wrong server for 3 days. I play these type of games to hang out with friends and guildies i've made over years of gaming, and now i cant play with them, because E/A mythic is incompetent.

at the beginning I thought it was another troll post...but after I read it I complety understand and I find it totally unethical for them to dont find a work around of some kind...I share your disapointment

maybe you try warhammer alliance forums and post something over there they may be more willing to help you if you have the support of non-troll people over these Forums...and mythic visit them often

I'm sure they'll work it out for you, Mythic's support is pretty good, and I seriously doubt they'll leave you out to dry, especially on something like this that is very much completely and totally their fault.

That is tough, but you can make still make lemons out of lemonade.

At least youre now on a more populated server!

Since this was available to other folks at the time you did it, it probably happened to  some others and they may be in the same boat, so your chances for going back MAY improve as I am sure they will.. eeep.. try.

Seriously though, that was a bad story and I hope they get the mess straightened out for you soon.

BTW, Mythic doesn't read this site, post this on VNBoards, seems to be where all the Dev's love to post.

That's awful, I hope the OP gets the problem sorted soon.

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be another GOA thread, but I guess it isn't just us Europeans that have to put up with weird bureaucracy & erratic customer service.

They were being so slow over character transfers in Europe that I decided not to wait & rolled a new character on a better populated server a few weeks ago. 

To the OP though, best of luck.

 This is completely unacceptable- and there is no doubt in my mind that Mythic will correct this situation.

Console yourself with the happy thought that at least you don't have to deal with GOA
