From that I have been reading about Darkfall it reminds me of Asheron's Call so much, anyone else that played Asheron's Call feel the same way? I'm talking about Asheron's when it first came out the first 2 or 3 years befor they dumbed it down and of corse on the Darktide server. |

Darkfall Releases - February 25th!!! Vaporware trolls = scum |
Yep it is very old school gamer in that respect to the Darktide server. It is a crazy beautiful mix of UO, Oblivion, Mount&Blade, and AC Darktide for sure. ---sig---

If this game is like AC, then maybe, just maybe I will have finally found a game that I can enjoy. I have been following this game lightly in the background but have had thoughts of AC come to mind everytime I see and hear things about Darkfall.
I just hope quests can be as engaging in Darkfall as they had been in AC.... |

Actually i would say its more like Oblivion/Shadowbane with hints of UO. |

It also looks like AC, graphics/engine-wise... |

Except not really. And people wonder why the DF fans call people trolls so often. Above poster is trolling and if you can't understand that then I feel sorry for you. If he had said "in my opinion the art style or something looks like AC...but he said graphics engine wise". Examples/proof of trolling: AC

Obvious troll is obvious. ~~ Darkfall Recap of everything that has happened the last 3 months: http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/213296 "The monsters are tough. I was looking for a challenge, but these things are just too damn smart." -DF Beta Tester "If people were dismissing it, then they wouldn't be talking about it. The well-meaning gamers root for efforts that try to raise the bar. So who's left? It's so easy being a skeptic." -Tasos |
