First E-mail: GNi confirmed to me that the game is planned to launch in the USA on their servers here in the USA within 60 days!!! - GNi has tons of servers in California, so that's where all the US servers will all be a launch.

Second E-mail: GNi says, East Coast Servers by Q1 2009 (I asked him about location of servers in follow up e-mail) - This means when GNi will have servers on the East Coast, nothing to do with the lanch of Darkfall(Ferox... learn to read).

GNi is the company that will host the game servers. The VP of sales is the person that e-mailed me this information.

Also, if you are reading this linked from that post in the official forums, I got banned there for you guys calling everybody trolls, if not for that, I would have posted this over there first. I have doubted release by 2008 or even within 6 months, so I have made a ton of posts such as,  "I don't believe beta is ongoing & don't believe it will make it by 2008"

But, this e-mail from GNi is changing my opinion, I believe this guy from GNi, he is the VP of sales, he must know what is going on. They forwarded the mail to him from the original person I sent the question to, so he must have knowledge about Darkfall and when it will launch. If you don't believe these e-mails are real, e-mail GNi yourself instead of sitting there guessing and specultaing all the time.

This game is real and coming out soon, everybody saying otherwise, have fun in WOW. Anyone saying these e-mails are fake, believe what you want to believe.I actually took matters in my own hands and e-mailed the GNi company to find out LEGIT information instead of sitting here guessing and speculating how most people do.

Aventurine never announces details of anything in NEWS section on their own before its reported by a 3rd party. They always announce everything after it happens.  The Athens videos, The Italian visit, it was all reported after we found out from the 3rd parties.

Yeah....sorry. I think I will not believe a random person on this forum typing up random E-Mails when there is not even official word on the launch in Europe.

Though I wonder if Aventurine likes their secrecy being destroyed by their American Partners. XD

I would love to believe you, but how did you get his e-mail. I mean it does not show up on google and the site forward you a sales e-mail (Not that of the VP of sales). Beside that find it hard to believe a Vice president would respond to these mails himself.

a few months ago I called KOTOR Online.. you can check my post history.. i was at a get together with teh former vice president of lucas arts and he esentially confirmed it.. i reported it here and it was torn apart.. and then it was announced...

The original e-mail name that I sent my question to was posted here on MMORPG, somebody posted the company info for GNI, I simply e-mailed the person and I got a reply from another employee, so they mustt have forwarded my e-mail to teh person that is familiar with what is going on with Darkfall.

I could take a screenshot of it, but then I have to edit in photoshop to hide my name, etc. SO I just copy and pasted it.

Be skeptical, I have been on Darkfall forums always asking questions, I am even banned for a few days for asking too many questions I guess.

With the Italians, Athens video, and now this, I believe the game is coming out soon, and I am happy about this as its the only MMORPG game that looks good in the near future.

Now that looks a lot better. That's good to hear that DF probably will launch within a month then in Europe (at least I suppose that should be around that time if it launches in the US in 60 days).

That leaves 1 Month for their Beta...and hopefully some free testing before or at the official launch.

Soon the truth will be shown! *cheeers*

Edit: GNI is a Server provider in the states...they host things like Hellgate: London.

I don't usually believe stuff like this but with screenshot and everything it's looking legit. Sure you COULD Photosop that screenshot but you would have to be really crazy to do that. Lets hope Khameleon is not crazy .

If this is true then I have to admit I was wrong. Big time. I didn't think there was any chance of them releasing the game before summer 2009.

Thanks for sharing, looks legit to me.   At least confirms what was expected.  If Darkfall launches in Europe late December, that would put the NA launch weeks later, as we were told.  Of course, this all hinges on no significant problems during play/load testing, and that is a hurdle yet to be cleared.

2008 is only here for like 37 more days...

Anyways, this doesn't prove anything, text is pretty much the easiest thing to fake in Photoshop. I could just as easily make that e-mail say "Darkfall will never release."

Heh, so where you going to buy the game at? There is no NA publisher and I doubt that they will do a download from their site buecause they would lose money that way rather than getting a publisher.  But if they do have download from their site, be careful.

Im sorry but the only way I buy games online is through Steam or Direct to drive. Im not giving my credit card number to some random people that live in Greece.  If I were you I wouldn't either, you cant be to careful these days.

Hmm so no open beta, keeping the game hidden so that hype goes through the roof. Hell we might have another AOC incoming. If the are really releasing before an open beta, this might end up being a better con than AOC.
