Who is the greatest MMO company out ther, not just because of the game they did, but include their services and innovation.

 Mythic, easily. They've innovated probably more than anyone else since Ultima Online, and invented the best PvP system to date. 

Blizzard... just ripped off ideas. 

 I feel that some way all of the companies listed have failed me in some way.  I am really excited to read people freaking out when EVE isn't on the list.

I went for only mainstream avatar based companies, which EVE does not qualify for yet. EVE has a good reputation though, the company CCP has so far done a good job.

 Whoa, Funcom is winning, I think there is something seriously wrong with people. 

You remember, this is the same Funcom that lied about virtually every feature in their game, and made it as much a WoW clone as possible, and anything unique about it got cut before release. 8 direction combat? bam, is now 3 direction combat. No magic stealth button, bam magic stealth button. Spell weaving? Nope, Drunken brawling? nope. Massive sieges? Nope. Sieges at all? Nope. Player cities? Nope. Crafting? Nope. Aiming arrows? Nope. Low number of high quality quests? Nope. Large beautiful lands to explore? Nope, you got a little road and you stick to it. Can't even go back to the noobie zone if you want to. Can I cancel my subscription? Nope! We'll make it as hard as possible to do that. Can I report a bug? There are no bugs, enjoy your forum ban.

Oh dear Signus... you actually make Funcom look good!!! If they can overcome all that and still win this voting, they must be extremely good to their customers...

Blizzard for thier innovation? are you all that voted for them fricken idiots?!?! WoW is a direct rip off of so many games its not even funny, hell even with this last expansion they ripped pretty much everything popular from other games

EVE is one of the biggest wester mmo's available. If turbine is one the list, so should CCP because CCP EVE has more subs then LOTRO, CCP EVE makes more money then LOTRO.

Blizzard, look at how many companies tryt o copy them and fail! Alot of players here say blizz rip off other games, while.... who dont? Yet none of them can be as successful as them...

If we wana play a clone we might as well play WoW.... hope it gets into the devs head this time...

Innovation is hard, because that would most likely go to EvE for doing something totaly different to the majority and being succesful with it. So in that sense CCP would win the vote. Lets hope Huxley will be great and Webzen will be number 1 ! ;) I voted Mythic because not for inovations, but implementation of features, such as PQ's, RvR, Scenarios, it all fits nicely which did not happen with other attempts, say.. Archlord! I never like to vote for anything tagged with EA, this will be a first and a last.

Blizzard. WoW is fun, and I rather liked the cartoony graphics. I remember being impressed I could play it on the dinosaur computer I had back then.

Square Enix, instead of doing what other games did (like WoW and pretty much any game  after that) copy of EQ they actually did there own thing and came up with a unique game. No game on the market is like FFXI IMO

Nothing much has really happend since the Ulima Online/EverQuest days.

Turbine was innovative with their first Asheron's Call game but they failed with Asheron's Call 2 and messed up really good with Dungeons and Dragons Online and Lord of the Rings Online could have been a much better game than what it is.

So Turbine are has-beens really and so is SOE and Ultima Online is a mere shadow of it's former self.

And Blizzard hasn't innovated anything.

CCCP then some of you will say, yeah but it's so boring and harsh towards the new player and I want my innovative game to be fun.

Jagex.  With a limited budget they have managed to maintain one of the highest subscription counts of all time.  In a field full of high-end 3D games, they can introduce a 2D Isometric game and win against nearly all of them.

None of them.  They're all money whores who are too scared to step outside of the generic theme park kiddy box to give us a true and real MMO.

Hmmm... RELIC entertainment!  COMPANY OF HEROES WOOOT!!!  oh wait... we were talking about MMOs?    In that case, EVE is fairly innovative, if nothing else they had a full game graphical update, i can't think of ANY other game, single player or multiplayer(asside from runescape-LOL) that has done it on such a massive scale.  That said, EVE only has 300,000 subscribers. 

I'd vote NCsoft because i'm obsessed with AIon and looking forward to Blade and Soul, but.... that doesnt really mean innovative.  I guess it goes to none of them.
