I, for one, haven't tried buying anything from the item mall since, well, everything sold there can also be bought in game. Maybe if they replaced the Good Fortune box to something that wouldn't randomly give items (for example, I am quite interested in the Heavenly horse but since I'm not really sure of my chances of receiving one, I won't buy the package...). That's just my opinion though... Take time to smell the flowers!

The skill decrease books and growth vials? I'm not sure about the vials, because you can get them pretty cheap in the market. If they increased the number, it would probably be a lot better. The only items I find worth buying are power potions (stinks having 72 million+ exp until next level) and the mount boxes (not anymore since I got my elephant ) and maybe the warrior package. Power potions are probably the best item for the price, but that's just my opinion. CC is so OP!

As well as bewitching scrolls. ^-^ what i bought from the item mall is the mount box whic i bought 2 just for me to be able to have a hackney. :)

It says the promo will end this coming December 14. I guess this is just a promo for the upcoming Christmas season. Anyways, power potion and scrolls of judgement is still effective for me.
