Sorry to bring you the news, but WoW sucks. But if you have fun doing your "dailies" day in day out and "grinding" in PvP Arenas, have fun. Alot of players look for a little more though. |

Aion 61.5%, Darkfall 38.5% right now... soon the hordes of Darkfall fanatics will arrive to change that. |

However, if they start the hyping when they have an open beta with alot of testers or even the released game, reviews will probably be very positive and they might get alot more players. Also, it's about credibility: A company speaks (understandable) always good about its products. But if a player who doesn't get paid for it tells you a game is good and you should try it - you would probably rather believe him than the company that HAS TO tell you its game is awesome. |

I'm waiting for Aion. I'll try Darkfall if it does come out, but to be honest, I'm not into the art direction at all. Granted that gameplay is key, but even so, the art direction and overall design of a game can be another form of immersion. For me personally, I have a hard time enjoying a game when I don't like what I see (visually). Some people don't like games that have a more Asian design like Aion, but for me, I just cant get into the uninspiring generic fantasy setting that I've seen time and time again. |

If Darkfall turns out not to be complete crap then I would play that most likely for a long time despite its god awful community. However right now I think Darkfall will release as a bug infested game, with tons of promised content missing or implemented so badly they should not of bothered with it, will have and does have a terrible community, judging by their inability to make simple quality updates on their game I am led to believe it will also suffer from horrible support, due to the time it has taken to make the game I reckon they will take longer than Blizzard to release content but without the polish to justify it and generally I just do not see this game ever being any good.

Well for me, the original UO was my favorite game. The sandbox aspect it was built on, made for endless gameplay. So logically you would think that Darkfall would be my choice. Well after years of lies and deceit from Adventurine, I find I am highly skeptical that Darkfall will be anything other than a rough cut piece of quartz. While Aion, even with it;s eastern slant will be far more polished and you can fly. |

same. As for Darkfall, i had a loog at it, read about it tried to get as much info as possible on it, but nothing really captured my interest. i just couldnt understand why people were going on about this game and what made it so worth looking at.And i guess i never will. i dont intend playing it. Oh and as for the people who say blah blah blah grinding blah blah asian blah blah blah Every mmo has an element of grinding. be it disguised under quests of *go east and kill noobs for 50 noob powder* really i wish people would see that you are actually grinding just in your mind you believe your questing. and aion seems just as grindy as WoW. ill look at darkfall every so often to see if anything seems to change my mind, but ill 200% be playing aion and 0.001% even test darkfall |

Personally I'm very Biased to Aion. Been following it loosely since 2006 and more closely this year. Its really a bit of a joke that people would compare Darkfall with Aion. Game differences and promises aside. Its like comparing Duke Nukem Forever with Call of Duty 4. Sadly there are no other really big games on the horizon other than Aion. I don't really take Darkfall seriously. Graphics is not everything. But it does count for a significant amount of the experience. That said, I believe someone above made the perfect point. While Aion may be Similar to L2, WoW was similar to EQ. Hopefully Aion can mimic the success of WoW and cater to the L2 market as well as the general western market. Currently Playing Random shizzle!
Waiting on TERA, GW2, TSW |

Have to vote Darkfall. Darkfall is the One MMORPG to Rule them all, and in the Darkness Bind Them!
Aion is just another Asian grinder. |

That said i dont know a single person whos tested darkfall, has there even been a test?? lol but these types of arguments are rather pointless, as i doubt anyone has played both to be able to make a comparison. |

Aion looks like it might be released this century. Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

Sorry to disappoint you, but no leveling in Darkfall. You get your "skills" up when using them (but they decrease if you stop using them) meaning you don't have to grind but can also "skill up" when PvPing, PvEing, Sparring with your friends or do whatever you want. Sure, you CAN grind, but there's no special motivation (no random drops; what you see is what you get) to do so. Also, even mobs of the same type differ (skilllevel, equipment, etc) so the traditional repeating won't exist even if you choose to "grind" (whihc, of course, you don't have to). |

I have been waiting for AION for years so you know what I am voting. Regardless of what the AION haters say the game is good. Everybody that has played the game loves it. All I have seen from Darkfall is just some crappy Videos that show nonthing but a ugly Hack and Slash single player looking game. I have no intrest at all in Darkfall. First of all... how could you have known whether if I voted on my own poll? Second of all, I did vote. Lastly, why can't I ask other people to vote on my poll even if I don't express my own views? If I just want other people's opinions? I fail to catch your point. |
