Hey all, question for you all. I figured since its not really game specific that I could post it on the general, as the Lineage 2 forums are pretty dead.

Heres the issue we're having. L2 has like 8 servers. I am able to connect to all but 3 of them. Those 3 are west coast servers. I've tried my computer, my laptop, my neighbors, etc. My friend back east can log onto my account and on the servers just fine and see my characters.

I've tried changing DNS servers in my router, reinstalled the game, nothing seems to work. I've called my cable company and talked to NCSoft, after hours with them neither can find any issues.

I beleive it to be a network issue, but how can I get it resolved, or does anyone know of any workarounds that might work?

Thank you so much for any help! :)

Do you know anyone in your area & preferably with the same internet provider that can access them?

If you can find someone in your area with the same internet provider that can use them quite happily then at least you know it must definitely be something to do with your machine but I don't know what.

If you have eliminated everything else, then as bizarre as it seems IP filtering could be the cause.

Some games use IP filtering to restrict access regionally & some providers use it to prevent access to sites that have been restricted for one reason or another.

Given your location & the fact that you can access the other servers neither of those really makes any sense, but if there are no issues on your machine it just has to be something like that.

If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"?

Just did further tests. A friend of mine about 20 miles away uses Comcast, and it connects to the server just fine. (I'm using Wave Broadband, a division of I think Charter?)

So obviously it means that Wave is the issue. How the hell can I make them listen and fix it? And what should I tell them to investigate?? Any ideas?
